Aunt Gabby finally meets her son, James after all these years. The anticipation and nerves got the better of her. This was a beautifully written book about the heartache and joys of adoption. Jennifer Groberg did a wonderful job o the narration.

This is a fabulous ending to the Helena's Grove series! I couldn't wait to hear what would happen with Gabby and her new found son! Ivy Alexander brings everyone back in to wrap things up, engagements and holidays are in the plans! It's a heart warming story, bringing closure to Gabby, even through Kevin! Loved this series, it's small town feel, the sage advice and that family warmth. Loved this series!

Jennifer Groberg concludes this series with her story telling talent. Keeping all these character voices the same from book to book and creating new ones for the new ones. I enjoyed her portrayal of Helena's Grove, it was pure entertainment.

The Helena's Grove series continues with Aunt Gabby getting ready to go meet her son, James. James' son, Dylan, had been searching for his grandmother, even after his father gave up, and the day that he found Gabby is seared into my mind. It was a simple knock on the door and Dylan entered her life. Gabby's family are stunned because this is a part of her life that she never shared. Now that her story was told, she is finally going to be reunited with the son she was forced to give up. As this story begins, my heart was in my throat and I could feel Gabby's reticence and fear. She is afraid that she'll be rejected by her son, even though the love of her life, Kevin, tried to tell her that everything would work out as it should. The reunion between Mother and Son was bittersweet, at first, with thoughts of how much time had been lost. As they embraced, their  love shone through and there was pure joy. As the rest of the friends and family got to know each other and the circle was closed, I cried tears of happiness for precious Aunt Gabby. The circle may be closed, but Gabby's new life is just beginning. This is a most amazing series and I wish it would go on and on, into the next generation! 
Jennifer Groberg does a sensational job with the narration. Her dynamic voice and emotional delivery bring each of the characters to life and make them feel real.

Now that her family knows about her past, it’s time for Gabby to meet her son. It is a nerve-wracking time for everyone involved as these kinds of things don’t always go well. And Gabby and company are going to meet her son at Thanksgiving! Talk about all the nerves!

This was such a sweet finish to the series. If you want a good, clean read then this is the series for you! I don’t recall any foul language at all throughout the books! The characters do like to partake in some wine and there is some sexual innuendo, but otherwise it’s sqeaky clean! It is possible for a book to be clean but still enjoyable!I have enjoyed ‘Going back to the Grove’ a second time, this time in audio, and definitely recommend this sweet series. The whole series would make a great Hallmark Channel films. I would like to see what happens next with the family as listening through all five books you become attached to them.

Despite my one issue with the narrator that I mention in the last book, Groberg did a good job and it was nice for the same narrator to be throughout the series.

I love Aunt Gabby, she's wise, fun, and is loved by all.
This is her story of her life. Her past, the story that shocked her family in Ohio. John, The son she gave up for adoption.
Now that Mitchell found her, he said his father would love for her to come to Seattle for Thanksgiving weekend.
Aunt Gabby was nervous to go, afraid to be rejected by her son. she had the love and support from her family to go with her.
John was apprehensive to meet her. did she want him? why was he adopted?
THis heart wrenching story had a few surprises and me in tears by the last chapter.
Jennifer Groberg narration is very good. She showed all the emotions of joy, angst and love making it an enjoyable story to listen to.
I was gifted this story by the author and offered my honest review.

I've listened to this audiobook three times already because I enjoy the comfortable break it gives me from everyday real life. I love imagining the characters and their adventures. The book is full of friendly people & family love. Very nice!
