The performances are outstanding. We listened to this because it is in Jane Austen’s Mansfield Park. I am very glad we did. It is very funny and easy to follow.

What Fun!

if it weren't for Mansfield Park, I don't think this would be much remembered, but it's a must listen if you're a fan of that novel, and the performance is good.

cute, but nothing special (unless...)

I bought this because of Jane Austen's book "Mansfield Park", in which this play "Lovers' Vows" was rehearsed. Jane Austen admired Elizabeth Inchbald, and I was curious about the story of "Lovers Vows", But this audiobook wasn't much of a performance, it was more of a read-through. Pity.

Not much of a performance, more of a read-through
