About this listen

The King of Hell owns me. Mind, body, and eternal soul.

The devil’s in the details, and I shouldn’t be surprised to find hell in Las Vegas. Luke doesn’t care that I can’t remember a thing about the deal we made on the night of my bachelorette party. All he cares is that I promised my love, my life, and my obedience to him for all eternity.

Obedience?

Not my style. I’m not looking to be owned by any man.

To make matters worse, I was supposed to be marrying another. But Adam can’t stand against Luke’s strength. I’m Luke’s prisoner. And his lover, the Persephone to his Hades. And I can’t resist his wicked charms and sinfully good looks.

With the mark of the beast on me and an army of Versace-clad demons knocking down my door, my options for freedom aren't just running out, they’re long gone. Only Luke can keep me safe. And only if I play by his rules.

The King of Sin needs a queen. If I want to survive, I don’t have any choice but to give the devil his due.

Narrator

No offense to the narrators of book 2 & 3 but I wish you would've stuck with the first one. Every narrator after the first book sounds younger and younger. If I didn't like the series so much I wouldn't have bought it.

Misses the mark

I had high hopes for this story but it just fell flat. I couldn’t like the main female character. She’s just so stupid at times. The part where she believes Adam cheating on her is her fault when she knows the angels are after her but she believes her life can go on as normal. The narrator was ok but her interpretation of evie didn’t help any. Not worth the credit

its was okay

narrator was fair and good with both sexes. story line pulled me in. downside is the focus on sex and the word cunt. I love romance and sex. For me no need to use vulgar words it cheapens expression.

Decent idea

it's a good idea for a story -- Adam, Eve, Lucifer. But sadly it has the most awkward and repeated use of the word cunt. I get that it's common in England but listening to it over and over again, it's just so cringeworthy.

I don't know Maybe it's just me.

Incredibly smart writing, great storytelling

Lucifer's Bride was wonderfully written. Honestly, the storyline was so unique and intelligent, that I was a bit blown away. Toss out everything you think you know about the Heaven and Hell. Roxie Ray and Skye Wilson create a world where we question who the bad guys really are! I won't give away any spoilers, but I will say that the heat between Luke (Lucifer) and Evie was undeniable. I mean, who could resist a devoted man, who is equal parts master and servant? Read or listen to this story. You won't be sorry.

Mixed emotions

It took me awhile to get through this book. I don't know why it just seemed to kinda drag on but was some what interesting at parts. I don't think it was bad but not really sure how I feel about it if that makes any sense.

Vulgar language, too much sex no

Vulgar language, too much sex no plot only made it to chapter 5 and decided this was a piece of porno trash I can’t believe it has good ratings. I’m no prude Allison to some very “interesting” things but this was just ridiculous. Now if the author cleaned up the language removed have to sex and beefed up the flight we probably have a great book

Annoying female lead

I’m only an hour and a half in and just can’t take it anymore. The premise of the story drew me in but the female lead just annoyed me, the interpretation of evil by the narrator didn’t help matters. Honestly, if I actually read the book it might be better but I’d still more than likely be annoyed with the female lead.
