This author’s uncle was General Douglas MacArthur’s bodyguard. Under orders from Roosevelt to catch UFOs during WWII, Mac created the very first Men in Black to investigate sightings and retrieve crashes!
After bombing Tokyo, Doolittle's Raiders join the recovery team! Experience the Battle of Los Angeles, Jungle Warfare, Atomic Bombs, Blue Beams, UFOs.
All voices in this audiobook are the author's, including impersonations of presidents, generals and celebrities. Author's vocal work has also won CLIOs, TELLYs, the NY Film Festival and will have two Grammy entries in 2014.
This action-packed WWII tale is "Patton" meets the "X-Files" with its own online trailer!
A battle-promoted hero, the author's uncle was with General Douglas MacArthur during desperate days, like during the Occupation of Japan - a smashed civilization.
Flying saucers were daily headlines and wartime President Roosevelt actually saddled General Douglas MacArthur with solving the growing UFO question - who and what were they? Could we retrieve and back-engineer a crashed alien spacecraft for battle before the enemy could?

Slaughter House Five (The conspiracy theory edition), as performed by the The Mercury Theatre on the Air.This performance may well miss much of its potential audience simply because it initially presents itself so convincingly as a just another loony ufologist on a soapbox.
In reality it is an alternate history sci-fi novel.
The alternate reality element has been so carefully woven into an anecdotal narrative of the Pacific campaigns of WWll and its immediate aftermath that someone at Audible has actually filed it under 'History'.
Alarm bells ring, for me, anytime I see a book read by it's author, doubly so if the title includes the letters UFO. With a few notable exceptions, authors are rarely great voice talents, I'll stick my neck out now and say that Jonathan Abel is one of the most notable of those notable exceptions.
There are a lot of things to like about this work.
As the author, voice talent and producer Jonathan Abel has delivered an engagingly idiosyncratic story in an unusual narrative form, performed it masterfully and topped it off with an innovative and entertaining production.
It probably won't be a best seller in Japan.
Not What You Might Expect...

There are quite a few such books, novels by Whitley Strieber, Tom DeLonge, Steven Greer, and others, all are far fetched at times, but this one is by FAR the best and most entertaining. What's MOST interesting is this: A guy 2, eh, maybe 3 degrees from General MacArthur, can not only write this well, but can act/narrate with the best! This book is simply incredible. And by that I mean, so entertaining. Great story and absolutely FANTASTIC narration. So, what's so funny about this is that it's hard to swallow that someone this close, is privy to such information, can tell the story so well, and can narrate with the best. So if you have a mind like mine, it will say "HHHHMMMM, disinfo?"
I cannot recommend this book enough. If you dig the UFO scene or just like GOOD science fiction, this book will not disappoint. If this is BS I still want some more.
ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE
