Publisher's summary

When Demon, a merman tasked with patrolling the ocean for humans in distress, comes across a woman anchored to the bottom of the sea, he’s sure his dreams have come true. After all, she’s stunning, single, and makes his body burn with need. She’s also impetuous, being hunted by his enemies, and seriously conflicted on whether or not he’s a good guy.

It’s his duty to not only protect her, but to win her heart - because this lonely merman is sure she’s the one for him. Now, he just has to convince her of as much.

Making Waves!

This is the fifth novella in the Lords of the Abyss Series. Demon and Victoria's story is original, fast-paced, and entertaining. Rebecca Cook did a great job with the narration. Looking forward to listening to The Merman, the next book in the series. I like this series.

Super great!!!!

Oh man, I love this audiobook! I must spoil one small thing though.....we finally know why the twins' mom named one of them Demon. I'm glad that question of mine was answered. 🙂
The storyline is unique to the series and had me in tears one minute. laughing my butt off in the next & wanting to kick the $hit out of some particular Olympians.
Victoria is a particularly wonderful character and what she brings to the story is priceless! Laurel has a priceless surprise in the book as well that I don't recall being revealed earlier.
Up to this point, this is my absolute favorite in the series. Michelle M Pillow knocked it out of the park with this one & this series.
Buy now, buy now, buy now! It's beyond highly recommended and worth every penny.

Short audiobook

This short listen was full of intrigue and steam. Demon and Victoria’s characters had a lot of ground to cover explaining what was going on in their world. This short audiobook version was a perfect escape for an afternoon.

Excellent Novella

Demon found Victoria, an Olympian, a merman enemy. As Demon gets to know Victoria more, he falls in love with her, hoping to make her his mate. This short novella was easy and fast. The ending was sad & joyous, this book kept me entertained. I liked they're falling in love story. There's one more book in this series and I can't wait to listen to it.

4.5 Stars - Another Great Addition to the Series

This was another great addition to the series thank to the classic writing style of Michelle M. Pillow. The characters were well written and endearing while the story line kept me reading from beginning to end. The narrator did a fantastic job of bring this book to life which made this a joy to read as well as to listen to.

I received an ARC and a copy of this audiobook voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Olympians strike again!

I enjoyed Demon’s story a lot!

After Demon, the merman finds a woman in the middle of the ocean close to change he attempts to rescue her. Yet he is a bit in love with her. Oh those merman fall in love quick.
This is such a good short story. I was laughing a bit because Victoria originally thought that she was in hell and she was with a Demon. But we know that he isn’t a actual Demon but a merman. So it was funny for me. There is a bit of action and of course a few steamy scenes but it was interesting as I felt we learned a bit of background history to their curse and they may have found a solution to a big problem they had.
The narrator, Rebecca Cook is wonderful!! I don’t know how she does it but her male voices are amazing. It’s like there another male narrator there with her recording the male voices. It is outstanding and she really pulls you into the story and it feels like your right there alongside with the mermaids and merman’s. If your looking for a quick listen, then consider picking up this series.

Two Heartfelt Rescues

This story was quick and sweet, while adding new developments To the Atlantes world. Victoria’s introduction to the Mer world was an abrupt one, but the resulting love she and Demon had was so strong. Once again, Rebecca Cook does a phenomenal job voicing both Demon and Victoria. I’m really enjoying this series, and I can’t wait to see King Lucius get his happy ending.
