About this listen

Troy Sullivan is the current owner of The Palisade, one of the most popular casinos on the Las Vegas Strip. With more money in the bank than he could spend in a lifetime and surrounded by yes-men more interested in staying in his good graces than helping him improve his business, Troy craves what he can’t have - someone to tell him “no”. When he discovers Rent-a-Dom, he’s convinced he’s found his solution: a master decades his junior who specializes in financial domination and who won’t so much as let Troy see his face.

Robin Mills is a young entrepreneur with the weight of the world on his shoulders. After signing over his half of his start-up, Rent-a-Dom, to his brother Monty, he’s made a business out of counting cards in order to afford their mother’s expensive medical treatments. But when Monty contacts Robin about a particular client, Robin finds himself drawn back into the world of BDSM, this time as Master to the man who makes his blood boil - Troy Sullivan.

For the last year and a half, Robin has dominated Troy from across the country, denying him every chance he gets. But when a betrayal at the executive level leaves Troy blindsided and in need of a strong hand, Robin is faced with a tantalizing choice: Let his submissive crash and burn or step in and stake a claim on the world he thought he’d left behind.

This MM audiobook contains mpreg, D/S elements, and is intended for listeners 18 years and older. Warning: Don't listen unless you like fun books with snarky, headstrong omega Doms; naughty, lacy things in all the right places; alphas who know exactly what they want and aren’t afraid to admit it; and scenes so hot, they won’t only melt your device, they’ll burn down your house. But then again, this is a Susi Hawke and Piper Scott collaboration - you already knew to expect that, didn’t you?

Harsh to Healing

I love the fact that the omega can be Dom. It is a great concept. When the story first opens I was a bit worried about harsh the story seemed. And then finding Robin's motives it seem more like someone taking advantage. But as the story progresses you get a better picture of both of their backstories and what motivated them in the past. As Robin gets to know Troy better he can start to see the world in a different way as well. As the move forward you see the relationship building. I love the way this story turns out.

Love an Omega Dom!

Good narration and an awesome story!

Love an Omega Dom! Steamy, kinky, original and so much fun to read. I loved the characters and their dynamic was original and interesting. The story-line was engaging and the writing kept me glued to my kindle. Troy and Robin will win your hearts!

I was so looking forward to this story and it exceeded my expectations. This can be read as a stand-alone book even though it is book two in the Rent-A-Dom series.

Such a twist!!

I love this series!! This one places the omega outside his "assigned" role and I adore the change. The D/s dynamic is amazing and sexy...Mr. Russo did so wonderfully on these 2 guys. I enjoyed every second and was upset when someone would bother me.

Wonderful!

When these two authors get together you can't really go wrong. I really enjoy their writing and story telling. Then pair that with Nick Russo's phenomenal narrating and you have yourself a wonderful book. I liked getting to know more about Monty and Robin's backgrounds and I'm looking forward to learning even more about Monty down the line, but this book was centered on Robin and his sub Troy. It was nice to see an Omega be the dom over the Alpha and that made this a very interesting story. I myself couldn't ever let anyone control my finances as part of that type of relationship but then again I probably wouldn't be the sub either haha. That being said it was intriguing to see this kind of relationship in a book and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Fun and sweet story. Narrator did an awesome job!

This was an entertaining and sweet read. It starts off with the MC’s already in a contractual bdsm-arrangement, though not in an actual relationship. It’s anonymous to an extent, because they only text and talk on the phone. I loved it when they finally did meet! Troy was in for such a surprise!

One of the things I really liked here was the role-reversal. Robin, the Dom in the story is a lot younger than Troy, his sub, who is quite wealthy and owns a successful casino on the Las Vegas Strip. He also seems to be cut out far better for the role of entrepreneur. In the beginning I thought Robin a bit too cold towards Troy, but as the story unfolded a big part of that seems to have been denial to self-protect. Robin and Troy were super sweet together, especially once Robin opened himself up more. Robin and Troy are both a bit careless with regards to certain health issues though, which I found a little incongruous, but it didn’t detract too much from the story.

Narration: I loved how Nick J. Russo brought the characters to life. I’ve not always been as convinced as I was this time, but I have to say I really enjoyed his performance now. I think it’s great how he managed to make Robin the man and Robin the Dom sound so subtly different. He has a very warm and pleasant voice to listen to. This was wonderfully done!

dirty fun

I enjoyed the book, but Nick Russo helped bring even more life to the characters. This is a good story with kink, emotions, a bit of enemies to lovers, and a special package at the end.

Financial dominance with a younger dom

This was a fun story. As when I read the book, I did have issues with Robin acting as dom to a man he didn't like. That made me uncomfortable until the feelings began to change. This book also features financial dominance, which I can't relate to at all, but still find fascinating. I liked the characters of Troy and Robin, and I enjoyed the humorous moments here. I also appreciated the narrator's performance. This is the only book I've read or listened to from this series, but I will be checking out the others.

A Man To Say No

This is the second book in The Rent-A-Dom Series. A wonderful book the writing was great. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters delightful. The characters were developed and thought out. Troy and Robin are the MC’s of this book. There was humor, ice, betrayal, a casino, a contract, red panties, family and more in this book. The narration was good and not monotone. The voices were different, but I wish that they were more distinctly different. Overall it was enjoyable to listen too. I can recommend this book as a good read/listen. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.
