About this listen

And she lived happily-ever-after...or...maybe not.

Morgan’s new status among the Fae has made it impossible for the witches to ignore the danger she may become to them. They declare war, and now it’s up to Morgan and her Fae army to keep humanity safe.

Grayson may have settled in as Alpha, but females are clamoring for the position of alpha female, and at least one is willing to risk the dishonor of being an assassin, putting true love to the test as he’s forced to choose between tradition and the women he can’t let go of.

The Fae princess and badass witch is fighting on two fronts, and unless she taps into some serious magic, or some powerful allies, the knife in the dark might end the fight for freedom before it’s begun. In the end, everyone will risk losing something irreplaceable, and it’s up to Morgan and Grayson to ensure that the loss doesn’t outweigh the reward.

The story just keeps getting better!!

LOVED book #3...it's not all rainbows and roses in the romance department which creates a complex dynamic between the characters. If you love magic, shifters, fae, witches this series has it all. Narrator does a great job bringing the characters to life. This is proving to be a great series and I can't wait for book #4!

I have loved this series so far

Book continues to follow Morgan and her adventures. This book takes you through many twists and turns you will be trying to figure out what will happen next and then something new happens to make you think of something else that might happen, etc.

This is the third installment and Astrid having done the first two continues to do a great job depicting the characters and using the same tones and attitude types.

Between the Authors and the narrator its a match made in heaven being able to visualize what is happening within the storyline as you listen to it.

Picked up the pace...

So I wont say that I was exactly happy with that way the last book end. I felt a little like Morgan had became too dependent on her relationship to Gray and was compromising herself and who she would be to stay with him. Not saying that I don't think they are a good time or even a good couple. Just that she could be so much more and stronger with how strong and more sure of herself that she was in the first book. With that being said she dominated in this book, coming back with a vengeance. She will not be stopped with what needs to be done and doing it the right was. There is still people out get her and she must work with Gray, Trist and even the coven that resents her. She must even fight for the aunt that treated her so badly in her childhood. And let me just say Neal and got to be one of my favorite supporting characters. Can I please have a best friend like him. I will lastly say that there is some serious heat in some of the these scenes but I'm not tell who with. =]

Loved it

I loved this third book. Morgan makes more friends and there’s an adorable little fox creature to get to know. Grayson and Morgan are complicated with Grayson having to find an Alpha mate and Morgan not being that since she can’t shift. Morgan spends a lot more time with the broker in this one and has to make even more choices about what to do when people try to kill her and kill a cop. I can’t wait for the next book! I definitely am curious to see what Morgan is going to do next and how her strange magic will work for her.

Great Listen

I loved this book but I love all the books I read by Graceley Knox and D.D.Miers. I got the audio book and it was fantastic the narrator did a good job getting all the emotions out there. I am only sorry I havent read the first 2 books. The main character has a lot of choices to make that are very hard I hope she gets what she really wants. She has a eye out for children which is a plus and those less fortunate and takes no crap from anyone.

What a ride!!

Absolutely loved book 3!! The story continues with Morgan’s fight against the witches. Morgan has now cemented herself as the most powerful fae witch with the help of her magical sword. She still fights for the underdogs, while trying to keep the war between the witches and fae at bay. New partners enter into the mix that make Morgan’s and Graysons already complicated relationship hard to navigate. Sometimes, Morgan and Grayson are a bit annoying because the love each and want to be together, but they are both too stubborn and dominant to make their relationship work. I hope Morgan and Grayson find a way to overcome that roadblock because I really want them to end up together.
This book was a bit shorter than the last one, but still had so many twists and turns to keep you captivated. I loved the narration by Astrid Morgan. She does a phenomenal job at bringing the story to life. I am truly enjoying this series, and cannot wait for book 4!
