Publisher's summary

Her future is already set, all she has to do is marry a complete stranger.

Kinsley Felton has everything. Money, a loving family, and a modeling career. She graduates from Yale in just days, but unlike a typical college student she doesn't have to spend hours looking for a job when she graduates. Kinsley will inherit the multi-billion dollar gaming and hospitality company her great-grandfather started. The only problem is she has to do everything her family asks for in order to get that money. That includes marrying a man of her family's choosing. That's not a problem since Kinsley has been following her family's orders all her life. Until a phone call from her grandfather changes everything.

Will she marry the man her family chooses or will she decide her own future?

This book ends on a cliffhanger.

Didn't See That One Coming

Kinsley's life is a one heaping pile of crazy on top of another. The men around her are constantly deciding her fate for her. Of course, she's just as responsible as they are for allowing it to happen. When she finally finds a backbone, life throws more garbage at her. I didn't see the cliffhanger coming (yes, I knew it would end on one but I didn't expect this). So good. Her chemistry with Killian is a scorcher! I enjoyed this book, along with the audiobook which made it even better!

Maybe Yes? Definitely Yes!

Maybe Yes by Ella Miles is a definite YES! The story pulled me in immediately. I thought the author was great building the chemistry between Kinsley and Killian. The only drawback I had about this book was the cliffhanger ending which I didn't see coming. It didn't bother me much because the second book, Maybe Never was already in my library. Keira Stevens did a great job bringing the characters to life.

Loved!!

I enjoyed listening to this recording while following along in the book. The narrator, Keira Stevens, did an excellent job conveying emotions and voicing the different characters. I hope to her again for the next book in this series.

Quick read.

I have read a few of Ella Miles's books and have enjoyed them, and I did this one as well. If you don't like a weak heroine than, this book might not be for you. Kinsley is young, indecisive, and has been told what to by the men in her life, all her like so she has a hard time making up her mind, Her life is about to change, and she doesn't want any part of it.

This was a quick read, huge cliffhanger, I enjoyed the narrator.

Wow - You Won't See What Is Coming!

Kinsley Elizabeth Felton, twenty-one, has rooms full of designer clothes but she can take them or leave them. A model since age twelve, she is about to graduate from Yale with a degree in theater. She hasn't dated in three years, since breaking up with her high school boyfriend. She follows all the plans her father and grandfather carefully laid out for her, never wanting to be the cause of disappointment. She had caused too much trouble five years earlier. She wouldn't risk being the cause of more trouble for her family.

Her grandfather, Lee Felton, built the family empire from a single Las Vegas casino into nearly twenty properties. Felton Corporation has remained a family company for generations. As the sole heir, Kinsley understands that she is expected to agree to an arranged marriage to a man her father and grandfather feel will make a good CEO and husband.

Killian Browne, thirty, has dark piercing eyes and reeks of sex-appeal. He doesn't smile much. He is VP of Operations at Felton Corporation and being considered for the CEO position. With a business degree from Harvard and some law school under his belt, he was recruited to Felton Corporation five years earlier. He formed a deep bond with Kinsley's father, Robert. Three years ago, he was informed about a plan for him to marry Kinsley and become CEO. Because of her age, he did not approach Kelsey.

According to the plan, Kinsley was supposed to model and act following graduation, not meeting her future husband until her late twenties. Then after a reasonable amount of time to date, they would marry by the time she was thirty.

When the plan gets turned upside down, Kinsley learns that the timetable has shifted and a marriage will take place in six months. She has always done as told, but says she can't do this. Even if his considerable appeal does tempt her to agree, Killian doesn't want to marry her unless forced to for the CEO position.

The atmosohere is explosive when Kinsley and Killian meet in Las Vegas. They dance around their feelings for one another throughout the book. Despite their incredible chemistry, both struggle with admitting to their developing feelings. Be prepared for surprises!

This book is well-written. The plot is suspenseful. It sometimes feels too wishy-washy, and the business-related scenes feel a bit too simplified and inauthentic. Maybe Yes is written from Kinsley's POV. The next books in the series, Maybe Never and Maybe Always, alternate between Kinsley and Killian's POVs. I rate this book four stars.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

As for the Audio: it is performed well and with emotion.
