About this listen

When children begin to go missing, Detective Connor McLain pursues every lead at his disposal. At least until Michele Easton comes to him with information she should not have.

Although she claims the info had come to her in visions, Conner is skeptical. Until the threats begin arriving - then his suspicion is replaced with concern. Somehow Michele calls to every protective instinct he has. Michele had sworn she'd never speak of her dreams again. But her fear for the missing children is compelling.

At first Conner McLain typifies everything she'd come to expect from the police. But she hadn't expected to entrust the man with her life. She hadn't expected to fall in love....

The storyline is great, but complete chapters dedicated to sex acts and romance. Should've been labled as genre fiction or Chick-lit. If you want unending sex, this is the book for you.

Good story with lots of fun characters, scary events, two people struggling with falling in love, yes, no, maybe, yes
Psychic dreams coming true...Well worth the listen

Enjoyed this book!

While this was not too bad as romance/crime novels go Kylie Brant offers up some insight into male female relationships. This is not the first of her books I have listened to and I much prefer Bronson Pinchot as performer than Coleen Marlo as narrator. Brant imbues some wonderful sex banter with the line about calling 911 and getting a cop to....
Although it has some serious overtones it is mostly just plain good male - female back and forth with some pretty damn good visualizations.
Still not her best work.

Got a good laugh

Entirely too much sex!!! I wanted more of the investigation into the missing children!! Narrator was excellent though!

Missing children vs sex

I enjoyed listening to this well written romantic suspense with a narrator who really captured the complex characters and their motivations.

The story was intriguing with enough sexual tension between the heroes to set a Kindle on fire.

An excellent introduction to a new author that I found via Audible Escape.

I enjoy this author and this book, as her others, is a romantic mystery. However, the mystery portion of this one wasn’t nearly as good as her usual work. I’m still a fan but hope I don’t find more that have this kind of lackluster plot.

Not as good s as her usual stories

Characters are stereotypes and annoyingly stubborn over and over again. A psychologist who doesn’t communicate got old. The mystery part of the story was anti-climatic. Not as good as her Mind Hunters series

Not Kylie’s best

#1.. all these people complaining about the explicit sex should never read Nora Roberts or Sandra Brown. seriously.
#2.. the story isn't bad. maybe a little bit of fleshing out, talking more about the case would be good. I had the perp spotted the 1st time they were introduced. no mystery there. after that I was just there for the sex. 😈
#3.. the narrator. between the words used and the narrators voice, all I could hear was Moira Rose from Schitts Creek. loved that

Way too much unrealistic sex talk and not enough real story. I couldn’t finish it.

Love story?

Conner is a tough cop with a cynical outlook on relationships. Most of the time it’s hard to figure out what Michele sees in him. But she smooths his rough edges and he finally sees the truth of who she is.
