Story
Guy Montag is a fireman. In his world, where television rules and literature is on the brink of extinction, firemen start fires rather than put them out. His job is to destroy the most illegal of commodities, the printed book, along with the houses in which they are hidden. Montag never questions the destruction and ruin his actions produce, returning each day to his bland life and wife, Mildred, who spends all day with her television "family."

Story
Johnnie Rico never really intended to join up—and definitely not the infantry. But now that he’s in the thick of it, trying to get through combat training harder than anything he could have imagined, he knows everyone in his unit is one bad move away from buying the farm in the interstellar war the Terran Federation is waging against the Arachnids. Because everyone in the Mobile Infantry fights. And if the training doesn’t kill you, the Bugs are more than ready to finish the job.

So good
Terrific and terrible. I’ve come to really love this author’s work. I rarely write a review but everything I have listened to has been deliciously horrible. I’m bingeing on the short works and wish listing the longer ones so I can get them later.

A perfect combination
Jonathan Maberry and Ray Porter…
What a brilliant combination.
Mr Maberry is an exceptional story writer and no one narrates his writing better than Mr Porter. The stories are clever, interesting, and full of bizarre characters. Please simply listen to the sample of this story. I hope you get hooked. I am.

Nice Short Listen
I really enjoyed this fine little story. Jonathan Mayberry is an awesome writer. This story has great characters and storyline that flows nicely. Ray Porter does another top shelf job of narrating, he is up there among the best. Recommended

Wish it was longer
I expected it to not be very good since Audible's included section is terrible. This is especially true for what they try to pass off as horror. But this was actually really well written and held my attention. I just wish it was a bit longer.
