About this listen

Number six in multiple New York Times best seller Larry Correia's Monster Hunter series.

Go big or go home.

When Monster Hunter International's top hunter, Owen Zastava Pitt, was given a tip about some hunters who had gone missing in action, he didn't realize their rescue mission would snowball into the single biggest operation in MHI's history. Their men are being held prisoner in a horrific nightmare dimension, and the only way to reach them is through the radioactive ruins of a monster-infested war zone.

As if that wasn't bad enough, it's also the home base of the powerful creature behind the devastating attacks on the Last Dragon and Copper Lake. It turns out ancient gods of chaos really hate trespassers. But this god picked a fight with the wrong crew, and now MHI wants payback. Calling on their allies, a massive expedition is formed, and with the odds stacked against them, a legion of hunters goes to war.

It's D-Day at the City of Monsters.

to wait for another 1,or 2 years. The monster Hunter series is most awesome. I recommend buying all of them. Its annoying in to have to wait for each book to release.

Larry Correia once again brings an entertaining and gripping story of those brave warriors of the MHI. Captivating story that is both well and well written. Can't wait for the next.

I didn't want to put the book up and yeah it still has those long winded parts, but it's better in this book. Oliver does a great job reading as always. Cliffhanger warning!

Dang best one yet!

Great read. Not the best of the bunch but still a solid story. Really liked the collaboration of the other worldwide monster hunter groups working together again.

Great continuation of the series

Some nice "didn't see that coming" moments and the great monster ass kicking that makes these so fun to listen to. Oliver Wyman does a stellar job and you have to laugh at a couple of his voices. He and James Marsters of The Dresden Files are just stellar at creating that personal connection to their respective hero. Of course, a good plot, well-developed characters, and well-paced action are all prerequisites.

Spoiler Alert - Strickland is back and up to no good, can't wait for the next book to find out more.

Another great MHI epic, with perfect narration
