About this listen

Before Moses, there was no viable monotheistic religion in the known history of the human species. His spiritual descendants number in the billions. He is arguably the most influential person to have ever lived, and for at least 2,000 years, we have gotten the basic details of his life wildly wrong.

J.M.S. Beale takes us back to the beginning, clarifies the murky past, and illuminates what has been confined to the shadows of history. The legacy of Moses has impacted the life of almost every person on earth, consenting or not. It is our right to know the full story. In plain language, Beale unravels the complicated processes of how the legends of Moses changed through time. With wit, intellect, and compassion, he guides readers into the ancient world of the ancestors and contemporaries of Moses, all of whom deserve consideration. Beale provides us with access to knowledge that has been hidden in plain sight. Moses and the Death of Heresy is a journey of recovery that empowers listeners to find something that has been lost, something that we were all intended to experience: actual religious freedom.

interesting exegesis

Using the received text, the author paints an unflattering portrait of Moses. No radical conjectures nor theories, just the Bible itself for exegesis. Not recommended for the closed minded.
