Publisher's summary

Losing my heart to a billionaire is dangerous business…

He finds me drinking alone at the bar at my best friend’s wedding. Our chemistry is immediate and electric. Within minutes, I forget all about the date who stood me up.

What happens next, I’ll leave to your imagination. All I’ll say is that it was scorching hot and extremely memorable.

The following morning, I find a note, but not a number. I’m more disappointed than I care to admit.

Six months later, I start a job at Lee Enterprises. Graphic design isn’t my passion, but an artist in New York City needs to pay the bills.

On my first day, I bump into the CEO, whose success is rumored to have earned him powerful enemies.

But we don’t need an introduction because we already know each other. Intimately.

When he calls me to a private meeting in his office, I wonder exactly what he has in mind.

Only I can’t be expected to know that my heart won’t be the only thing in danger…

Mr. Hudson is the first in a series of larger-than-life billionaire romances. If you like sizzling romance, wealthy heartthrob heroes, and gripping suspense, then you’ll love Mary Jenning’s standalone series starter with a guaranteed HEA!

I loved the story!

I disliked the AI reading. I would get lost in some parts and had to go back to rehear it again.

Virtual voice

I listen to audiobooks because I enjoy the different voices assigned to the characters as well as the emotions the narrator brings to the story. As a rule I only listen to books with VV if they are free and don’t have to use a credit.

Bad VV

VV really takes away from the story. I feel sorry for the author. So hard to listen to.

Virtual voice without human inflection that rendered the story mundane & boring.

Virtual voice is soulless and makes a good story very sad. Reflection of human emotions is necessary for creative enjoyment.

First time listening to this author

Whose idea was it to use a computer to read a book? I don’t like virtual voice. Miss the human element. Narrators can’t be replaced.

Good story, dual POV with dual narration.

I really enjoyed the story. The instalove was cute and the challenges they faced intriguing.

I liked the dual narration for the dual POV. However, I really didn’t like the voices the male narrator used for female characters, especially the FMC. Whenever it was the MMC’s POV chapter and Emile spoke, the voice didn’t sound right. Luckily most of the book was in Emile’s POV.

no to virtual voice

not a fan of virtual voice there is not enough feeling it's just like one monotone voice I prefer to hear a Feeling when they are speaking. and it's putting somebody out of business by using a computer voice

Emily is so irritating

This book was so boring. Emily was a whiny little brat through the entire book. Ezra was not much better. I was hoping the book would get better but I was wrong.
