I love detective Annie Hudson!!
This book made my vacation so much better as i listened to it while lounging at the beautiful beaches of Maui. It was a well written mystery novel that kept me guessing until the end. I thoroughly enjoyed watching how detective Annie Hudson questions suspects as she completely disarms them with her friendly banter. This book really made me miss a good a good mystery and have me wanting more.

Fun with good characters
This was such a fun and cozy read! I loved that it took place behind a gated community, and we really got to know each neighbor.
I was expecting one mystery to be solved (who committed the murder), but there were many more sprinkled throughout and at one point I was really concerned on how in the heck all of these could be solved! But they were!!
I also came to really love and feel for some characters as I got to know their story more. I can’t wait for the next book in this series and to solve the over-arching mystery.
