Loved this one!!

Murder and High Rollers: High Desert Cozy Mystery Series, Book 10 by Dianne Harman, narrated by Robin Siegerman is a standalone, entertaining listen that's sure to keep you engaged from start to finish. I was thrilled when I found out more of Dianne Harman's audiobooks were available on Audible! She is the reason cozies are my favorite genre, and I highly recommend all of them. I'll let you read the plot synopsis for this one on your own so I don't give anything away, but just know if you are someone who enjoys a good murder mystery without the gorey details, you are in the right place. In addition, if dogs, casinos, and art are of any interest to you, you're going to thoroughly enjoy this audiobook!

This is the first time I've ever listened to a performance by narrator Robin Siegerman. I felt she was perfect for Murder and High Rollers. However, at first I wasn't so sure. I found her voice to be a bit raspy in the first couple chapters...like she needed to cough or clear her throat...but that quickly passed and it was smooth sailing from there. I loved all her voices! They were highly entertaining, and she really brought the characters and storyline to life. My hope is that more books in this series come out with her as narrator. I'm really looking forward to more!

I give 4.5 out of 5 stars to Murder and High Rollers: High Desert Cozy Mystery Series, Book 10 by Dianne Harman, narrated by Robin Siegerman. It's a fun and easy listen that will keep you guessing, smiling, and sleuthing alongside the characters through to the end. I recommend this audiobook to those who enjoy cozy/clean mysteries, as well as those looking to try something new. At around 4 hours it's the perfect afternoon escape…a trip to the casino, without the worry of coming home empty-handed. Yes, please! That's definitely my kind of afternoon. Happy listening!

What an amazing story and book!!

The narrator was amazing! She was able to use different voices--not sure how but it was incredible. I had already read this book before listening and the tone was exactly as I imagined it while reading!! They even give the 5 recipes at the end.. Whether you read this or listen to it I am sure you will enjoy it.

Good clean cozy mystery

Good clean cozy mystery. Dianne Harman is an author that I have enjoyed many of her books. This series High Desert is not one of the series I have read before. I had no problem following the characters or the storyline so this book works as a standalone book.

Moves Right Along

I really enjoyed this book. It moves right along. Great listen, especially for someone who bores easily with a "slow" book.

Whole new meaning to “Sore Loser”

Let me just say that I’m never disappointed in this author’s work. And this book didn’t disappoint. I loved the characters. Even the ones I loved to hate. Marty and her detective husband Jeff are in a casino trying to catch a bad guy. One who has murder the competition because they won’t stop winning. After all, who wants to spend that much money on a bet only to lose? Miss Olive and Miss Simone were so adorable I could hardly contain myself. I loved the way the book had some paranormal going on. The best part was the dog with a sense of someone bad. Our pets always seem to know who to trust. This was written really well. Even when guessing who done it, it was great seeing how and why. The narrator was fabulous. Talk about all the different voices, she has it going on. Very talented. I’ll be looking for the next book soon. I was late for work all weekend because I would keep sitting in car in parking lot listening. Very hard to put down.

Amazing Narrator

This was a good book made even better by the narrator! Robin Siegerman brought the story and characters to life by giving each character their own voice. Thoroughly enjoyable!

Fun Cozy Mystery

This clean, cozy murder mystery was a fun, easy listen! I liked the short chapters and each chapter moved the story right along. This standalone mystery is a nice length of approximately 4+ hours, so it gets right into the mystery with no excess story lines bogging it down. I really liked how each suspect was introduced, along with their individual motives. It was fun to check off the suspects on the list along with the police! Narrator was good, although I did not like Jeff’s voice. I highly recommend this cozy mystery!
