About this listen

The first time he kissed me, we kept it a secret.

Tanner and I have been at each other’s throats ever since.

The second time he kissed me, I told myself not to fall.

I should have known something burned beneath the surface, and I couldn’t resist him.

The third time led to something more, and now one positive test later, neither one of us can walk away.

Only when his past sheds light on every difference we’ve chosen to ignore, we’ll have to fight for each other or lose everything before we’ve even had a chance.

Loved!

Tanner and Natalie are the last of their friends to fall in love. What they don’t know, is that each is harboring feelings for the other despite the bickering that goes on between them. One night together changes everything. As they embrace the changes ahead, their relationship goes from friendship to so much more.

Tanner and Natalie’s story is the perfecting ending to the On My Own series.

Great read

I absolutely loved this characters and the way that the story was written. It pulled me in from beginning to end. This is the fourth book in the series but can be read as a standalone though you do get extra enjoyment if you have read the previous books due to knowing these characters and seeing the others in this book. Natalie and Tanner have been circling each other in the previous books, we have seen them sniping at each other but had no idea why. It was great to really get to know these two better and figure out what they had going on. I loved the way that things developed between them and the way that they dealt with the obstacles getting thrown in front of them. They were adorable. Things didn't go smoothly but they didn't let that stop them. I loved the extra bits that we got with the rest of the roommates as it did a really great job of concluding the series.

Bad decision just got reversed

I liked how this story played out. It was a friends with mutual attraction.
I was so glad when this story came out as it was the last book in this series. Oh! It had a bit of angst, but it kept you on the edge of your seat.
I liked this book a lot and would definitely recommend whether reading as a standalone or better in the series, it is an awesome read.

Bad Decisions

Great ending for this series. If you haven’t listened or read the others in the series, I highly recommend it. It’s college age but I like the trials they all went through. This small group of friends became a family and each ended up with their own HEA.

Love this story

This story and the narrators were truly amazing

There is just something so wonderful about a young man behaving as a man—aside from his secrets lol. This is a Carrie Ann Ryan book after all. Tanner has moved up in this fictional world as my favorite. I love that the journey they were on also includes an awakening for others and their life choices. They were both so right and perfect together, protecting of each other as well as being the others strength. What amazing parents that will lead to! The friends being a part of this was pure perfection as sometimes family isn’t always blood and instead are who we choose. Thank you for this story. I pulled an all-nighter to finish it.

I have to say, this was my favorite of the four. I love these two together and love how strong she is. I’m glad at least her dad was able to be there for her. Aaron Shedlock and Emma Wilder did an amazing job at narrating

Tanner and Natalie are perfect!

What a great conclusion to the “On My Own” series. I have loved this series so much and I’m sad that it’s over. Tanner and Natalie’s story was my favorite and I’m so glad we finally got it. In the past books, you got hints of the angst and attraction they felt for each other. And now, it’s finally here.

Natalie and Tanner have always been at odds with each other. The tension the two have between each other is angst filled but both are afraid and too stubborn to say anything. But one night, that changes. And then a few weeks later, it changes even more.

I love these two together. Tanner was always a favorite of mine from the past three books. He was always so brooding and secretive. That man was a mystery and I needed to know more about him. His past was hard and he is working hard to make his present and future better. Natalie was lucky enough to grow up with everything she could need. But she never took advantage of that, went to school and wanted to make a life for herself on her own. Tanner and Natalie’s chemistry was off the charts hot and their relationship was super sweet. The epilogue wrapped up the series beautifully and it was great to read how everyone is doing in the future.

Emma Wilder and Aaron Sherlock were so good as Natalie and Tanner. I loved listening to these together.
