 "I am a huge fan of The Children of the Gods books, and this was a great addition to that series. it was great to see more of Kri and Michael. They have a different dynamic and relationship than some of the other characters in the book, so it was nice to get to watch their relationship evolve in this book. If you are a fan of the series, you should DEFINITELY get this book, you will be happy you did, I highly recommend it. I'm dying to read the next book in the series (Dark Warrior's Destiny)!! I hope the series continues for a while to come. :)"

Excellent story, I stumbled upon this series and now I can't seem to put them down!! Love the story and the characters and I've already finished all of the books!! Eeeek!! Can't wait for the next story and am looking forward to following all of the characters =) Thanks for your inventive imagination with creating a storyline that seems so real.

The virtual voice was distracting. While I like the story, the voice narration was difficult to listen to. Character names were mispronounced which was difficult to follow at times.

I usually like these stories. And this one was good on its own. But the narration completely ruined it for me. The AI pronunciation was way off.

I listened to the entire virtual audio book before writing this review. I do not like the virtual voice version because it is too plain, too on the "note". Virtual voice does not flex or produce any emotion from me except boredom.

Holy cow, my mother and I never appreciated how much Charles Lawrence's voice acting adds to this series until now. The Virtual Voice doesn't change between characters, so it was extremely difficult to tell who was speaking most of the time, and the emotionless nature of it could make even the most exciting scene sound dull as dishwater. The story was decent enough, as Children Of The Gods books go, but it was hard to pay attention to because of the voice.

The virtual voice is AWFUL!! I have listened to every one of the 75+ books in this series and this is the absolute worst. Boring, inane story, but I could overlook that, this virtual voice is horrible!! I will not waste my money on another one. Extremely disappointed.
