About this listen

I just need to know...which one of you slept with my husband?

You know that ‘till death do us part’ bit in the wedding vows? Well Zoe Dalton believed it. She walked up the aisle thinking that she was strolling to her happy ever after.

One month later, her heart is in pieces, she’s returning the wedding gifts and there’s a husband-shaped space next to her in bed. He’s gone, after Zoe discovered a devastating secret.

But Zoe has lost so much more than her marriage. Her three sisters are not only her siblings, they’re her best friends, too.

Now she’s discovered that one of them may have been the reason her husband betrayed her.

She’s lost her happy ever after, but has she lost a sister, too?

Loved it!

The book was a wonderful story of the sisterhood complete with plot twists and turns. Their problems build and build until the climax.
The narration was superb. My only complaint is that the author jumped around too much. The setting would change from present day to Christmas to Easter to 1991 and back to Easter then to present day then back to 1991 then to another event. Not only did the setting change, but the characters narrating that part of the event would change as well. Not all characters talk about their version of Easter in a row. Someone else’s version might be ten chapters later!

Strangers who are sisters

Most of the time while listening to the book, I thought to myself how can these women be described as close sisters when they know absolutely nothing about each other. It all comes together in the end thankful. It was a quick read for me because I wanted to know how it all turned out. The narrator’s accent threw me for a loop at first but I eventually got used to it.

Give it a little extra time

It took me a while to get into this story, but I ended up loving it. The beginning feels a bit scattered, but it needs to feel this way in order to connect to the characters.

Wonderfully engaging to the end

I admit I got confused sometimes with the dates and happenings, but that took nothing away from the story. Loved it from start to finish.
The reader had just enough accent to be acceptable without being overwhelming.
Highly recommend, especially for anyone coming to grips with needed life changes and family disputes.

This book was outstanding! Loved everything about the story of the four sisters. And the narrator is brilliant.
