I really enjoyed listening to this story. The way he had to reevaluate his life and decide he wanted to fight for his relationship with his wife was very heartwarming!

Chris Brinkley is a wonderful narrator. But he is also a great story teller. I've loved both of his currently released books. This one is unique in that it deals with a married couple. It was refreshing to see beyond the initial happily ever after and that marriage isn't always perfect and requires work and attention. I actually choked up several times while listening. I am so excited for this series to continue.

I love these heartfelt books written and narrated by Chris Brinkley. Thomas had his goals for his family but forgot to be present. I love how his life was shaken up and he got back on course with what was the true essence of his life. Well written and narrated.

Goodness! This book grabbed my attention from the get go. Thomas is the guy at the beginning of a story you just want to smack in the face and yell “PAY ATTENTION!!!” But… he redeemed himself, and I loved every bit of it.

Chris Brinkley not only wrote this, but performed it. He brought the character, Thomas, to life in such a way you couldn’t help but sympathize with, and root for his journey. You can feel the anger and frustration, and general perplexity Thomas felt, and the joy of walking down memory lane.

This audiobook definitely shed light on the male perspective of marriage. I’m absolutely loving this series- and the next book sounds fantastic!

This was a story of a man who had to rethink his choices because he was faced by the crumbling status of his marriage.

I loved the flashbacks to when Thomas and his wife were young. The journey he had to take to realize what needed to be done to fix his marriage was beautiful.

A very different vibe from Zach’s story, and equally poignant. Evocative, thought provoking. Highly relatable and heartfelt. If you’re looking for lighthearted, gooey sugary romance and grand gestures, this is not the book. But if you want reassurance that men can manage their emotions and step up in honesty, integrity, and humility, then dig in.

I love everything Chris Brinkley does!!! He is so talented. Each story so far has warmed my heart. Written & narrated so beautifully. It's so refreshing to hear a man speak of love, vulnerability & all of the emotions, thoughts, ups and downs that are a part of love & commitment. I'm looking forward to installment 3 of this series.

Such a sweet story. Chris Brinkley is a great writer. When he narrates his books, it's as though he is speaking directly to you. Read "The Story of Us: Zach" followed by this book. Can be read as a stand alone book if you choose. But why not have the pleasure of both books? Go for it!
