About this listen

The third in a series featuring Jeff Boon, a Confederate Civil War veteran who leaves his war-torn home with a group of settlers, intending to start over in Oregon.

The small wagon train continues their journey west as the trail takes them through Nebraska Territory. There they encounter warlike Indians who are rebelling against the encroachment of the white man and treaties broken by the U.S. Army, and the growing threat caused by the betrayal of Abe Hackett.

Just too short.

These books are just too short. It seems like I start them and before I know it I’m at the end. Growing up in the Big Horn Basin, I love listening to the places being mentioned, because they’re my home and I imagine they could have been the stories of my ancestors. This series along with the McCabe series I think is at the top of my favorite list and yes above Louis Lamour even. Brad I encourage and implore you to keep going with these stories because I can’t get enough of them and Turner too is now my favorite narrator. Great job to you both.
