What did you like best about Nicholas and Alexandra? What did you like least?

not history, but not bio , couldn't make their mind and unsatisfying for either especially considering how long it took to tell. does the author think restating his opinions again and again makes them facts?

very abridged but repetitive too

Any additional comments?

I read the book when it was originally published and several times since then. It deserve an unabridged version. Audible should go the Full Monty for the WWI Anniversary edition. It is that good.

Tradgedy on a cosmic scale

Do not get this if you are hoping for the complete book. There isn't even enough time in this summary for a reasonable explanation of the cast of characters, nevermind the complex history and politics covered in the original book. Definitely not worth even the small amount charged for the audio book as this isn't even a Cliff's Notes version of Robert Massie's Nicholas and Alexandra.

This short summary is NOTHING like Massie’s book! Don’t buy this version; buy the original!

Worst narration ever! The cadence of the voice is so monotonous. I do not recommend it.

the narration is terrible! the monotonous cadence puts you to sleep inmediately.

I thought I was getting the whole book, which I have read many times. This was just a digest.

Disappointing

After listening to Peter the Great and Catherine this book is a HUGE disappointment. Don't bother.

Very superficial. Barely worth the cost.
