The ideas presented are very good, the world itself is very interesting, though the word-building could be better. With no real basis in our world the substituted terms and descriptions of things are often very hard to follow. The mixing of the technological and the supernatural seemed a bit aimless and without structure or purpose, though that might just be my subjective view of it, or it may be elaborated in later volumes.

Overall I wanted this book to be much better because the premise is fantastic but the execution leaves a lot to be desired.
