Sweet

Man I like this book, it went by way to quick. I loved how Cameron told scot that if he started whining like he used too the crew would mutiny. I remember in the earlier books his whining would drive me nuts

Too short

I would have preferred a longer book. Otherwise it was excellent, as his stories usually are.

Much better than the last book.

My favorite series.
The last book gave too much review and wasted too much time reviewing past situations for new readers. I gave it a terrible review. However, this book has done an excellent job on not repeating information to catch new readers up. This book has good plots, new character and new character development, and is fun. It is far from the best book of the series, but is well worth a listen the new plots, and new directions and ideas within the book are very good and I am looking forward to the last half of this book and future books. Good job Mr. Brown.

a time passer

I absolutely love this series of books and I'll listen to every single one even when it's not narrated by Jeffrey kafer however this one seemed to be very short and I'm hoping it's just a stepping stone to this storyline.
regardless still the best book series I've ever listened to!

Almost becoming Short Stories

The books are dwindling done to very simple and less complex single-mission tales with a surprise ending. Interesting, well-written, but not at the level of everything before this series. These seem like fillers.

Gripping

I have enjoyed the Ryk Brown series and this book is no exception. The story kept me on the edge of my seat. Most of the regular characters are present, but we have some new ones added in this episode. I can not wait for the next book to come out. I enjoyed the shorter book.

I read this as an audiobook downloaded from Audible. The book is seven hours and thirty-five minutes. Jeffrey Kafer does a great job narrating the series.
