About this listen

Library whispers to wedding bells faster than you can say, “overdue book fines.”

He's Rivermint Cove's most eligible bachelor—and I’m the awkward librarian. He’s also, inconveniently, my best friend’s brother.

What started out as an innocent blind date ended in Nate blurting out that we were engaged and asking me to play along.

So, I did what any logical bookworm would do: I dove headfirst into the role, swapping the quiet of my library for the whirlwind of make-believe matrimony.

Now, I'm dodging congratulations and attending eye-opening couples retreats while battling my real feelings.

Things get delightfully dirty when a mischievous hound dog leads us on a merry mud-splattered chase, resulting in both Nate and me looking like swamp creatures at a garden party.

Navigating this messy charade, I’m starting to think the line between make-believe and reality is as thin as the pages of a well-loved novel.

Not Really Faking It With My Best Friend's Brother is a dual POV, sweet kisses only, standalone book with no profanity and a HEA. It is the first book in the Off-Limits Love in Rivermint Cove Series.

Boo virtual voice

I didn’t like the virtual voice. The story was very predictable but sweet and an easy listen.

cute book

It's definitely a fluffy story, pretty clean with occasional kisses. The medical definitely violates hippa if it was real, but it's not, so it doesn't really matter. Overall it was a good book.

a human did not read this book

What a way to destroy a cute story. I hated having computer read the story. I couldn't understand who was in the story. there is no personality it was like awful. So unless a computer wrote the story so I don't feel badly for an author that doesn't exist, I would just be so sad as someone who dedicates her life to writing to entertain having this done to the book.

Virtual voice is a horrible choice for reading

I really like the story, but it is so hard to get to know the characters because it is read with a virtual voice. There is no inflection nor change in tone, which makes it very hear to know which character perspective is featured.
