If you are looking for a little romance, a little comedy and a little angst, this book is for you! Cassie Mae has written a story that lets you get lost in the daily lives of an engaged couple, Liz and Landon, that have sworn off sleeping together until their wedding night. A bet is made who will cave first and it will decide their honeymoon location. But there is so much more to this than just the bet. It's a story of real feelings, how things effect a relationship, intimacy and family. I really enjoyed all the components, and the humor that is laced through it all. Liz had me laughing a lot with all of her chocolate references, and how she dealt with her feelings...nothing a little chocolate bar can't fix! And Landon is just a doll, even with his lack of confidence at times! It's funny, flirty, angsty, and delicious and I really enjoyed this listen!

Meghan Kelly is one I will listen to read the phone book. She has a way of tuning into the characters, and this one in particular, she dialed in and found Liz and Landon. She gave them each a voice and personality that was true to life. I laughed and teared up, was frustrated and in love as Kelly gives us all the nuances and inflections of the characters. It's a fantastic performance.

This book will have you laughing through most of it and there will be times that your emotions pour out. I really liked this book. It has a bit of everything to please everyone and the narration was just perfect.

This is an adorable listen. These two are trying to get their groove back. I loved the thought process. All the fun and trials these two went through. Honestly I kept expecting him to be cheating on her but to my surprise that never happened. It is a lovely story. The characters were perfectly done. Their hopes wishes and dreams are what kept me listening. Plus once they started tempting each other to break it became kinda funny. These two were impressive and ingenious. The sweet things he did for her I loved!

I listened to this on audio. Meghan Kelly is the narrator. She did a good job as usual. There are a few times where words or passages are repeated but otherwise flawless.

This book had me laughing out loud from the beginning!! I have to say I walk while listening and people around me where looking at me like I had lost my mind. I definitely recommend this book!
This story is extremely well written and narrated!
It has action, intrigue, adventure and romance!
The story had me intrigued from the beginning and kept my interest all the way through.
The narrator does a fabulous job with the characters and voices of each character which makes it easy to distinguish between the characters. She also does a fantastic job with male and female voices. I definitely recommend Meghan Kelly as a narrator. She brings the characters to life.

Oh my gosh I adored this book. The humor was right up my alley and I found myself laughing out loud a couple times. A very sweet story that I would read again when I need a ray of sunshine in my life!

Not Your Average Engagement (Not Your Average: New York Chapter, Book 1) is such a cute life like story with oddles of humor. The characters are likeable and their back and forth banter is continously funny. A morsel of angst, loads of humor and just right amount of romance. The ending is perfect.

Narrator Meghan Kelly did a wonderful performance with this audio. She portrayed the characters with different voices and all the right emotions.

Looking for a light fun listen, then this is definitely for you..

it's not often I come across a book where the couple is already together and the story is actually fun. Not a depressing Second Chance situation. These two were younger and yes could be immature, but they were funny and silly and it was just a nice light entertaining listen. There are a few editing glitches where the same line was read twice or the same word or two was read twice, but big deal. I did like how the narrator did a good job of distinguishing between the male and the female voices without sounding cheesy and fake.
