These exercises are amazing!

I’ve dealt with a bit of this disorder undiagnosed for a lot of my adult life. I would leave the house and wonder if I locked the door. I would double check to make sure that I turned off the stove. Luckily this book has given me a much better knowledge and understanding about OCD. On top of that this book has given me a big arsenal of exercises that I know will help me out in the long run.

Practical, helpful and compassionate

This is an excellent audiobook to help you address OCD, anxiety, stress, intrusive throughs and compulsions. The author offers a gradual approach to identifying and managing triggers, and overcoming OCD behaviours. I found the approach used to be compassionate and practical - both emphasising patience and kindness with yourself, and also offering a practical toolkit, with examples, of actionable steps to follow. I particularly liked the section on relapse prevention - as the author states, stress will always rear its head, and it is important to have periodic checks ad develop a coping startegy toolbox. Very informative.
