Great Modern day Adventure

What made the experience of listening to Oil Field, Texas the most enjoyable?

The voice work by Bill Word perfectly fit Larry Hills story. Tense shootouts were suspenseful to the max. The many character voices were easily remembered by Bills excellent accents.

What did you like best about this story?

The times when plans were stategic and dynamic. Plenty of brain food! Speaking of food, I liked the realism of the characters frequently eating and preparing for the awesome shootouts, with rockets!

Which character – as performed by William "Bill" Word – was your favorite?

Tex. a real sharp thinker and a cool patient man as well. He always took care of his men.

Who was the most memorable character of Oil Field, Texas and why?

Same. Some of the other characters were gruff at the appropriate times. Tex, however really stayed true to his character both from and audio and authored standpoint.

Any additional comments?

The worst ever!

The narrator is the worst of any audio book that I have ever listened to. The book is totally lacking in any redeeming qualities. A complete waste of time and money.
