Publisher's summary

After garnering numerous awards for her light-hearted fiction, Sheila Williams pens an "entertaining sequel" (Booklist) to Dancing on the Edge of the Roof.

Having escaped her urban existence, middle-aged Juanita Lewis enjoys her new life in Paper Moon, Montana - but she still has a long list of places she wants to visit. With her true love's blessing, she embarks on a journey of American exploration. When her eccentric friend Millie suddenly dies, however, she rushes home and learns she has inherited Millie's bed-and-breakfast.

At last Juanita has it all - true love and financial independence! But does this diner cook turned entrepreneur have too much on her plate? This novel overflows with gentle, self-effacing humor.

A heart warming and empowering journey!

Sighs......I can't believe this book has come to an end. On the Right Side of a Dream continues the journey of Juanita Lewis as she continues to find her place and purpose in life she thought she lost. With the beautiful prose of Sheila Williams and the wonderful narration of Lizan Mitchell this book starts off where Dancing on the Edge of the Roof ends with Juanita and Peaches heading out West towards the beaches of California to see the ocean......and much more of course! Our favorite characters return, along with some new ones, to teach us about life, love, friendship, and what makes a family, and through this all we learn that life just doesn't happen. Juanita's journey teaches that we make life happen. This book had some great laughs, great visualization, some tears, and some parts where you want to just slap some of the character's while applauding and high fiving some others.

Wonderful story

I really enjoyed the two books in this series. The characters and story line stayed with me in a good way and caused me to reflect on some of my own life choices. I would enjoy reading another installment of Juanita's life but this book had a very nice conclusion. I look forward to reading more books by Ms. Williams. I agree that the narrator was excellent for the female voices but her male voices did not make the audible experience any less enjoyable. Very well done.

Love Ms. Juanita!!!

I purchased this series by Ms. Williams on a whim and am so glad I did. This series is the first by this author, for me, and I am certain they won't be the last. I loved Juanita's journey to herself. I laughed out loud, cried and was pissed for her as she grew to meet herself each day. Jess was just so cool and supportive. I need a friend like Peaches!!!

Juanita's journey

I loved this book as much as I did the first one. Once I started listening to the book I couldn't stop until the end. I was glad Juanita was able to make a life for just herself. The narrator was great.

Really enjoyed this book

I don’t usually review books, but I thoroughly enjoyed this author‘s sense of humor. The narrator was amazing and did a fantastic job. Can’t wait to try the next one in the series.

My review

A nice follow to the previous book, which left you wondering what happens next. The author does an excellent job of fleshing out Juanita's story and provides the reader with hope. If Juanita can conquer her fears ,lack of knowledge and travel experience do can the reader.

Easy read, I enjoyed the simplicity and down to earth language.

Perfect Sequel

I thought I would cry when this story ended. I wasn't ready to say goodbye to Juanita. Far too often, sequels disappoint, but this one was just perfect. I loved it.
