Publisher's summary

In the past, Lady Iris Keene had designs to marry Daniel Andrews, the Earl of Hampstead. After a devastating rejection from the earl she decided he wouldn't do, but once a heart is given it's difficult to retrieve. Something Iris discovers when she crosses paths with the scoundrel a year later...

The last thing Daniel wants is to become involved with Lady Iris Keene, but he's drawn to her, and always has been. That was why he had to push her away. Marriage is not something he wants or needs.

At a house party, the two of them cross paths more than either would like. Along the way they have to decide if they're going to continue fighting what is in their hearts or give in to it.

twins

The second twin gets her revenge and her happily ever after as she once again is in close proximity to her crush. New characters are introduced and previous characters are given updates on their lives. I recommend reading the series in order.

Beautiful Regency Romance

This is the third book in the Scandalous Gentlemen Series, a Regency Romance. Iris and Daniel's story is fast-paced, sweet, passionate, and heartwarming. They are two strong characters. Their story is filled with push and pull. The storyline is engaging. The supporting characters are interesting. Harry Frost did an excellent job bringing this story to life. I like his voice. This is a great team author/narrator. I enjoyed it. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Once You Love a Scoundrel!

This is a fun "Scandalous Gentlemen" story. Lady Iris has been in love with Daniel, the Earl of Hampstead. He is a Scandalous gentleman who swears to never marry. She intends to still a kiss and make him see reason but she does not get the results she anticipated. He has some hurtful words that pushes her away. Now they find themselves at a house party and she wants nothing to do with him. These two are a battle, tango and then his friend decides to play a game. This is a good story that is entertaining too. The narrator did a really good job bring the characters and their story to life.

really a scoundrel

Iris and Daniel story. Daniel rejected her at first then later in a gathering, really see her and seems he fell in love with her. Not sure initially if it is love, lust or because he was starting to feel and consider permanent companionship. There was a steamy scene that I thought would force them. I did like the transformation of Daniel, though I wish for a longer romance/courtship kind of period. Nevetherless, it was a nice HEA especially for Iris .

Good for an afternoon story

(NOTE: This series should also be called "constant ladies of the Ton." These ladies remain constant with their feelings for these scandalous gentlemen.

A Little Naughty…Definitely Scandalous Regency Fun

I had listened to the audiobook for the heroine's sister's story, and the prologue scene that opens this book is one we saw from the sister’s perspective in her book. I was wondering if that was going to come into play in this heroine's book. Not only does it, but it is a pivotal scene and moment for this couple. She has been attracted to him for a long time, and she takes a chance—and is thoroughly rebuffed. This hurts her heart on several levels, so when they meet again at a house party a year later, it is more than, shall we say, awkward. But an unexpected illicit (and amusing!) encounter in the deep, dark middle of the night changes their path once again. I love the interactions between the couple and with them and their friends and family. A thoroughly enjoyable Regency romance!

Iris & Daniel

Lady Iris Keene and Daniel Andrews, the Earl of Hampstead's story is the third book in the Scandalous Gentlemen series, another great story. They will have their ups and downs as they work toward their happy ending. The bedroom scene when he was foxed was fun to read. I enjoyed reading and listening to Harry Frost bring this story to life.

Iris and Daniel

Iris loved Daniel, but he rejected her. She decides they would never be a couple, and rejects him. They end up at the same house party, and keep running into each other. Of course, they come to their senses, and realize they love each other. The narration was well done. I received a free copy of this audiobook from BookSprout and am voluntarily leaving my review.
