Publisher's summary

Two families mourning. Two mysterious murders. One innocent florist whose floral arrangements are the common denominator at the scene of the crimes.

When Tracy's floral store is commissioned to supply the arrangements for two funerals, she's humbled to be entrusted with the responsibility. She reluctantly puts up with the rude behavior of an old lady who manages the affairs of one of the deceased, a well-known philanthropist in Fern Grove.

When this old lady dies at the funeral, no one suspects foul play. After all, she was old and frail. However, the subsequent murder of another close member of the family sets alarm bells ringing.

Could both deaths be linked?

Tracy is left bewildered and enraged when handsome detective Copeland suggests that her daisy arrangement was the one piece of evidence found at both murder locations. The stakes are further raised when the fortune of the deceased is revealed. It seems almost everyone associated with the dead aristocrat is a person of interest.

Is there a killer at large disposing of anyone associated with the deceased? Can peace be restored to one of the oldest families in Fern Grove? Will Tracy ask the right questions to expose the murderer or become the killer's next victim?

If you want to enjoy a light-hearted listen, featuring an amateur female sleuth and a gripping murder mystery with a touch of romance, then you'll love Tracy Adams and all the friendly and not-so-friendly characters in Fern Grove. No cliff-hanger, swearing, or graphic scenes! Buy One Daisy and Two Funerals to discover how events unfold in this cozy murder mystery.

A very flowery story

Well written. Cute characters. Highly recommend this book for people that do not like violence or or tons of suspense with their mystery. This is a very straightforward story that avoids using profanity and or blood and violence

One Daisy and Two Crazy Funerals

Tracey returned to Fern Grove when she lost her job due to down sizing and the state of her aunt's mental health. After getting through a murder investigation where she was a suspect, things have settled down, or so she thought. In the floral shop a woman comes in asking for a floral arrangement for her deceased Dachshund. Then she gets another job for a floral arrangement for a deceased woman. Now there is one dead Dachshund and two deceased people. The unfortunate thing is that the one common denominator is Tracey's floral shop. Without meaning to, she is once again embroiled in a murder investigation.
Jeannette Smith has a soothing voice that entices you into the story.

Great Read

Another great story about Tracy,Tiffanie and Aunt Rose! I loved the new characters and all the old ones! There were so many twists and turns and possibilities of who the murderer was! This was a heartwarming story of wealth and snooty sisters, compassion and heart wrenching sadness that because of Tracy, was a bit easier to live with! This all started with a mixup in flowers from Tracy’s flower shop that ended up with floral arrangement being mixed up for two memorials. One for the elite well to do and one for a not so well to do. The reactions of the snooty sisters was angry and petty and from the other lady was appreciation and understanding! The moral of this story is that money does not make you a better person if you feel you are above everyone else! If it were not for money, two murders would not have happened! Big surprise who the murderer is! You must read this! Not only is this a great murder mystery, but you will learn a lot about being a good person!

One Daisy and Two Crazy Funerals (Fern Grove #2)), my third read from author Abby Reede. Well-written & enjoyable. a cute, clean cozy mystery with well-developed characters and detailed settings. I look forward to reading White Lily and a Fatal Chili (Fern Grove #3). I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reading & reviewing it. Narrator Jeannette Smith's narration adds to the book's enjoyment. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Marvelously Suspenseful and fun Cozy Mystery

Voice is wonderful for this Cozy Mystery, kind not irritating. I was suddenly surprised when voice changed-wwhatt? I had been knitting when my yarn took off across the room, I realized the voice in my head was now a man speaking. Ahahaa She changed voices, very cool :-) threw me but I like it, once I wrestled dog for my yarn for a dogie treat we got back on track. This Audible was Excellent. I have listened to plenty-each have their own unique style. They should, they differing audiences.
The story was fun with what begins with what most folks Think is a super
easy-to-solve mystery. Oh No WRONG, Wrong WRONG. Many people think oh yeah I got this solved,I don't even need to read this! Really? That's the FUN. The Twists and turns begin so soon and don't Stop. Wwhhoohhaa. I was surprised. Like Clue so funny
People come and go and come and go on yes and did and..well you get it. I just get THE BOOK I think because I think I need to go back and see the pages flip by.
I took notes for my review but had no idea what was ahead.

Wwhhaattt? I would like the flowers to be arranged like dogs. Special orders written
She leaves the door closed behind her.
Suddenly the door opens in barges a woman with a sneer on her face roaring she needs flowers now for my former employer. It was Stella Rockwell, former nanny to the Waldorf girls. Former employer is 'The Augustine Waldorf ' of the richest family in town. She spews that "Money is no object".The order was made and she stormed out.
Ok now WE all think we know where this is going, right? BUT, uh NO. Maybe a tiny smidge. Then it just takes off the rails from where We think it's going. It takes a turn another then a twist a turn a twist... It ends up ..Well have a see. I will tell You this.
2Vans get filled with Flowers Tracy takes off to the Mr Waldorf funeral. Tiffany to Waldorf the little weiner dog ("" ) funeral. Tracy arrived opens the van her face distorts in terror. Oh my gosh, she is at Mr Waldorfs funeral and the Van has flowers shaped like dogs. Stella sees her and charges across the lawn, arriving roaring.
Ellen was calm being told it would be fixed.
I will Stop here because This is now a springboard to things happening.
A death, a new stranger, a handsome detective, some daughters of Mr Waldorf

This Cozy Mystery is crazy

This story is slightly insane. The characters are delightful, but the insanity of mixing two funerals flowers than finding another dead body at the funeral is just two much insanity. Although our flower shop girls seem to take it all in stride. This story is funny and brighten my day.

Childish

One feels as if this book should be in the children’s book section. The narration is condescending and so too is the whole tone of the book.

Thanks but

The narrator is horrible. I couldn't stand it for even 1 chapter. Glad it was free.
