About this listen

Angela is beautiful and charismatic on the outside. But on the inside, evil rages and she's determined to get anyone and anything she wants. And now with her biological clock ticking, she seduces her old friend Philip, and his partner Jonathan, into having a child with her through artificial insemination.

As time passes, Angela's mask of deceit slips away and she leads the fathers-to-be on a relentless, agonizing journey filled with lies, anguish, and finally tragedy that forever changes the lives of everyone involved.

If you enjoy books like The Girl on the Train, Gone Girl, and classics like Fatal Attraction and Misery, you'll love this gripping thriller of fiction, a novel of pure suspense that will keep you on the edge...even weeks after the final tick.

Great book - Awful narrator

The book was great, kept you in suspense but the narrator was terrible..He kept inhaling LOUDLY and frequently and wouldn’t pronounce words correctly. I should have read this one!! I will buy this book, read it myself and add to my Rob Kaufman book collection❤️

Good not Great

While the story was very slow to take off, the narration was the down fall for this piece.

Just Plain Awful

I have no idea how anyone enjoyed this book.
The narrator makes some of the gay characters sound like stereotypical gays from 70's sitcoms.
The main character's voices change from chapter to chapter. His mispronouncing of everything from cities to medications is frustrating.

The story itself is absolutely predictable from the fist chapter.

The author also should have consulted a doctor or an orderly before writing a novel that involves reproductive endocrinology, mental illness and obesity.

It was very difficult to finish this book but I took a chance that it would improve. It did not.

Not sure he's ever been to actual Connecticut either.

Save yourself!! Don't waste the credit!!
