Publisher's summary
What does crazy look like? Let Deborah tell it: It's the reflection that looks back at her in the mirror. She has a career she loves, two beautiful children, and a handsome and successful husband. Her life seems to be the blueprint almost every woman she knows would kill to live. But working full-time and being a full-time mother, full-time wife, and full-time Sunday-only Christian seems to be taking its toll on her. With all the scheming and shenanigans Deborah orchestrated to get this lifestyle, she might have to come up with a whole set of new ones to maintain it.
Lynox is Deborah's husband. She thanks God for putting Lynox back into her life after a game of cat and mouse that defied the laws of romance. He feels that all Deborah needs is to let her hair down, maybe make some new friends and live a little. When Deborah agrees and then suspects Lynox of having an affair with the woman that he suggested she form a friendship with, will he live to regret his own advice?

Out of all the divas at New Day Temple of Faith, Unique has to be the most colorful one - she and her mother, Lorain, that is. Never one to hold her tongue in the name of keepin' it real, it's no surprise that Unique has not been saved all her life. It's safe to say that Lorain wasn't born on the church pew either. Let the church folk tell it, the apple hasn't fallen too far from the tree when it comes to Unique.

Story
Helen wasn't just born the devious vixen of New Day Temple of Faith. There had to be something rooted deep within her to make her inflict and feed off other people's pain. Perhaps it was her own pain that she had suppressed for so many years - an unimaginable pain - that created an internal prison of which her mind was the only captive. But once the demons within her break free, those around her better beware, as Helen surely becomes the epitome of the saying, "Hurt people, hurt people".

Story
Venus Johnston has a great job and a long-term, live-in boyfriend who happens to be a drop-dead gorgeous doctor. She also has a weekly beauty-parlor date to keep her long, nappy hair slick and straight. But the tedious hours and harsh chemicals in the salon have long grated on Venus. One frustrating day, she trades in the long hair for a dramatically short, natural cut and sends her commitment-balking boyfriend packing. It's a bold declaration of independence and one that has effects she never could have imagined.

Loved it
This was a really good book. Debra try's to keep everything under control, but she can't seem to control her temper. She wonders if she is crazy, but doesn't want to keep seeking help not realizing that when she asked God to help her he already did but she needs to also use the resources that he has placed before her and stop thinking she could handle it on her own.

EN Joy touched on a very touchy subject in this book. It makes you think about your own reactions to situations.

PAGE TURNER‼️👏🏾😏
This book was amazing 🤩 it was so relatable in all aspects of it. I can most certainly relate to Deborah in ways well in all ways I’m just like her. Everyone deals with their own mental health issues/problems in their own way. And it’s up to us( the person dealing with it to get help ) I’m glad she got the help that she needed and deserves for her and her family 👏🏾❤️ loved it 10/10 recommend 🎂

One Sunday at a time
I was expecting to carry on with the first book which I thought had more to say. But this book was a bit off. Suicide and mental health are issues that need attention this book provides that

Hallelujah!!!.🤸🏾♂️🤸🏾♂️🤸🏾♂️🤸🏾♂️
This book was sooooooo goood!. I enjoyed every part of it. Even the part where Deborah’ children are being removed from the home, that made me so upset because I can truly relate to when a woman has a child, a part of her . And you try to disrupt the motherhood flow... I was so upset that we live in a society who does this. However, just because I seemed to be a little out of control doesn’t mean I’m a bad parent. That social was not really compassion in how she viewed the situation. I say all that to say that even though there were parts that made my blood flow harder, it ended in a blessed way that truly gave glory to God. Mother Doreen’s prayer was for me too. I received the word and was blessed!
Now that’s how you right a Christian novel.!!!!!!!!❤️❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾😃

Just couldn't get into it.
l wanted to like this book. However, it felt like l was listening to an outline of a story instead of a real story. The characters just didn't come together in my opinion. And the dialogue was just off , every other sentence was about someone talking in there head. The narrator was good. The story was lacking. l was expecting more.
