About this listen

So what happens next?

Sir Rhys, Sir Sharp, and Sir Trusty - three of the world's greatest swordsmen - are released from the Royal Guard in their 20s with no pension, no job, and no money. Rhys' father is the great Blade hero, Sir Spender, who finds himself in the same predicament. Spender knows of a fabulous treasure that was lost more than 30 years ago and thinks he knows where it may be. Why shouldn't the four of them go and look for it?

But King Ambrose also remembers that treasure and believes it belongs to him. Why shouldn't he try to stop them?

A fabulous new tale in Dave Duncan's King's Blades series.

Adventure with three bored Knights!

This was a really good story about three Knights who have been released from their duties as Kings Blades. Now that they do not have a bunch of responsibilities, they find themselves without something to do. When they were released from the Kings Blades they lost some of the great powers that come with the position. But they still want adventure and wealth so they go after a lost treasure. Not a bad Audio book at all! I received this Audio book for free in exchange for an unbiased review. Worth a credit.

Well written

I got this story via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review. Well written and narrated. This is a YA book in my opinion and was plotted well and delivered with clarity. There were no spots of inconsistency. The world-building was great. I listened to another story just before this one and it was night and day different. Well done.

Amazing Story and Amazing Voice!

This story was fantastic and really pulled together and enlivened by the voice actor doing the story. Love this series and love that they have kept with one actor the entire series!

A story as sharp as a blade

Recently released from the kings service, Reece and his two friends travel to visit his father only to discover a magical glove and a stolen treasure in a far off kingdom. Leave it to a Blade to cut straight to the heart of the matter in this story that is part 3 musketeers and part treasure island. I was given this audio in exchange for an honest review.

Excellent Medival Fantasy Adventure

Opens very well laying groundwork smoothly and professionally. Plot moving forward smoothly from situation to situation. Author causes story closure to move well.
Narration was performed professionally and with good clarity.
I recommend this audiobook for ages 17 and older due to some adult situations and violence
I was given this audiobook for free and I freely give it my rating and opinion
