Publisher's summary

He was my first crush, my first kiss, my first everything.

So when he shows up out of the blue asking me to have dinner with him "for old time's sake", I say I will. After all, it's been 12 years since he broke my heart, and I'm totally over him, no matter what my sisters say.

Except...he still does something to me. He's got those eyes that make me weak, those hands that drive me wild, and a body I can't resist - especially once I see the tattoos. It doesn't take long for our trip down memory lane to go from sweet to sizzling.

We're just as good together as we were back then - better, even - but he's hiding something from me, something that has him convinced it's too late for us. He says I should forget him and find someone else, someone better.

How can I convince him that sometimes your first love deserves a second chance?

This book can be enjoyed as a stand-alone. Only You, book one in the series, does not need to be heard first.

True love

I got interested on this story being a yoga person myself. It is very refreshing to listen to a story where the conflict comes from within the characters and how they overcome it for love. Of all the 3 books of the Divine sisters, this one made me almost cry. I was so fascinated by the sisters support and love to each other. A lot of cliphangers but still love the ending. The 1st book had many funny chapters, the 2nd book had lots of love and excitement and the 3rd book is the sneaky one. This series is now my top favorite series. Some more of this Melajie Harlow pls.

A surprisingly good listen

I was really surprised that this book held my attention, drew me in, and had well-defined characters...in addition to a well-thought-out storyline. I listened to entire book on a Sunday. It was a welcome respite from the crazy world.

The only complaint I have is that I could not bond with Lauren Ezzo's "male" voice for Dallas. Stephen Dexter nailed it, but I kind of cringed when LE did the voice of Dallas. But still that was only a small distraction. Lauren's portrayal of Maren of superb.

This romance will make you laugh, cry and swoon!

Only Him is a sweet, and poignant second chance romance. We first met Maren, Emme's younger sister, in Only You. She is funny, kind, understanding, and caring. But Maren is troubled with a recurring nightmare and can't figure out what it means. When her first love, Dallas, shows up on her doorstep, she figures he has to be the reason. But things are never as simple as they seem. Dallas left town years ago without a word, breaking her heart. He is sexier than ever and when he apologizes and wants to make up for past wrongs, she can't turn him away. Dallas is struggling with something as well and his secrets could break them both. Maren and Dallas' journey is a rollercoaster of emotions. They have fun learning who they are again, falling fast and hard. They are both so beautifully flawed and they have to learn to trust each other with their vulnerabilities. Dallas was an enigma to me. I got frustrated with his self-doubt but then he would be so sweet and thoughtful, he really made me swoon and fall in love with him. I was especially moved by Dallas' relationship with his brother.
I was so excited that Stephen Dexter, and Lauren Ezzo returned to narrate Dallas and Maren's story. They add so much personality to this story with their amazing ability to convey such heartfelt emotion from the dramatic to the funny, from panic to passion, and all the sweet moments in between. Dexter blew me away with his pacing, making my heart race when Dallas struggled with his emotions and learning to be vulnerable and opening himself up to love. I love the way Ezzo portrayed Maren's upbeat personality but also her frustration, pain, and personal growth. They brought this romance to life so beautifully, making me laugh, cry and swoon and I loved it all!

Eh... repetitive

If you don't mind listening to the same whining and drivel for several hours, you are okay with sappy, sugary, campy stories then this one is for you.

Mature Much?

Really liked the first half of the book-2nd half I wanted to slap Maren. For being almost 30 she is REALLY immature and self centered. Ah yes, he has a brain tumor, and may die, but let’s make it all about you and how you feel. I haven’t finished the book, 2 chapters left, but at this point Maren and Emme are 2 self centered, whiney little girls. I don’t like when authors take the characters down unrealistic paths. If the book is supposed to be about two 30 year olds-then let’s have them act, somewhat, like that.
