What would have made Out-of-Body Travel and Mysticism better?

This book had poor explanative power. The author used what seemed like random mystical words strung together in cliche-like sentences. She never went on to further elucidate the meaning behind her word soup. I feel I came away with knowing less on the subject than when I started. What could make this better is perhaps far more intensive, rigorous research into the subject backed by real authorities. She speaks upon the subject as if she researched Wikipedia for various key words that she strung together in a book. From the first fifteen minutes into the book, it seemed apparent that I was not going to get a deeper understanding of the subject and that I had foolishly waisted my time and money. I'm sorry if this criticism sounds harsh but I feel it needs to be said.

Would you ever listen to anything by Marilynn Hughes again?

Never.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of William Rodriguez?

He was not very good at what he did. It felt like he was reading the script for the first time and did not have any independent knowledge of the field. He mispronounced several words that are now quite common in our culture like the word "namaste". I would get someone with more insight into the subject for better credibility.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

I honestly don't think so. It should be stricken from Audible's menu of book options. It makes Audible shine less for having such mediocre books on its "shelves". I feel that no-one is scrutinizing the book selection to filter out subpar books. I hope that I am wrong.
