About this listen

Laughter and sparks set the stage for a fun romance from New York Times bestselling author Ruth Cardello about a farmer who switches places with his business-savvy twin brother and falls in love with the daughter of his brother’s biggest client.

I just found out I have an identical twin. I’d love the idea if he wasn’t an arrogant, overconfident businessman who is determined to save my farm even though I’m in no danger of losing it. When I agreed to switch lives with him, it was supposed to be for a couple of hours.

I was told to lie low, meet no one, and let him deal with the oil company that was sniffing around my property. I agreed to the switch only because it was the first time since we’d met that my twin had shown interest in my life, and I hoped it would give us a better understanding of each other.

Hours drag into days. I consider our initial agreement void and head to his office. I’m sitting at his desk, mostly minding my own business, when a beautiful woman blusters in, ready for a confrontation with my brother about an email. She’s the daughter of my brother’s largest client.

I only flirt with her to make her smile. What could it hurt to pretend to be my brother just a little longer?

I didn’t expect to uncover a plan to sabotage my brother’s company. I don’t want to believe that the woman I can’t get out of my thoughts and would love to get into my bed has anything to do with what I’ve discovered.

Save the company.

Save the girl.

I have no idea how I’ll do either, but when something is done out of love, it has to work out.

ok

I don't know if it was the story or just the narration but it was very difficult to get through. the narrators' aren't necessarily bad, but their voices are just annoying. and his inflections and her male voice are bad. the female character is extremely annoying and I found myself constantly saying "god please shut up!" I ended up just reading the last 3 chapters because I knew it would take me at least another week to get through if i listened to it. hopefully the next 2 books have better narration.

Love at first sight.

There is so much that happens in this book!
Contemporary romance with attempted murder and two hot twins!
This book is my first introduction to the author and I read and listened to the audiobook. I really enjoyed the audiobook and felt like the narrators, Rock Engle, Lidia Dornet did a wonderful job. The book is told in duo POVs-Monica and Scott. They both fall head over heels but it wasn’t easy for Monica. She guards her heart.
I’d recommend this book to readers who are looking for a light, HEA, and fun read. You gotta meet Scott’s pig.

family

Finding out you have a twin brother when you are an adult would be really interesting and it makes a good story.

I liked the people and watching them change as they find love and their way through tough situations.

What happened to the ending????!!!!!

What happened to the end of this story? In the book series it listed this story with ONLY two books. How come you ended the second book with a CLIFHANGER????? I enjoy and listen to my audio books only if it's a complete series. This series showed that it was Two books. Which I did enjoy Until I heard the last chapter and found it was a CLIFHANGER. I would appreciate it if the author would identify the series as it should be and Not leave the readers hanging. Cause it doesn't show another book even coming later to Finally complete the story line.

DNF

My eyes were rolling from the beginning of the h's chapter. Here is a supposedly very smart and capable woman who is determined to speak with a contractor who was belittling her and wasting her time. But, as soon as she sees the H, all she thinks about is sex. But, when the H asks if they have a history (ie. have they slept together?), the h feels longing and then tries to say she wouldn't be attracted to him. My first thought would have been - he doesn't even remember who he has had relations with! Nope - DNF
