Publisher's summary

In Parasites on Parade, Larken Rose (author of The Most Dangerous Superstition and The Iron Web) uses his own direct experiences with bureaucratic and judicial stupidity, intrusion, and corruption to illustrate why, everywhere and at all times, in every situation and at every level, government sucks! This snarky, flippant look at the mentality and tactics of various state busybodies also provides an important lesson regarding the true nature of political “authority,” and the problems and abuses it naturally creates.

cautionary tale

not what I was looking for but that's not really the book's fault.

the account of an illegal search is disturbing and pissed me off. I didn't like it but I am glad that I am glad that I read it.

one criticism though... why didn't he make the inspector get the required warrant? he could still have "stuck it to the man" with probably a lot less trouble...or maybe I misunderstood something.

i feel like every one should read this...it's short and enlightening.

Wow! Every day, all the time!

The story is real, painful and all too common. Very well executed! The first person narration is poignant, and the music lightens the tone, making it an instructive and enjoyable listen.

Larken Rose is brilliant!

Although this book only illustrates one very small example of the thousands or even millions of other examples of government abuse, Larken does an excellent job of explaining in “Step by step” details all of the abuses, negligence, ignorance, corruption, cover ups, power grabs, etc. of government from the most local all the way to and through the federal levels of government with most of this particular example being in the judiciary.

I love and respect Larken Rose’s work and I believe you will too!

Enjoy.

A book everyone should read/listen to!

Larken is absolute hero. Thanks for standing up for our rights!

The deep state has bred for over a hundred years generation of pathetic good little peaceful sheep! The sheeple have the ability to hold to contradicting thoughts and absolutely fine with one (gov abuse) and be repelled by another (fighting back the abuse and corruption)!

Short but excellent audiobook

Loved it! Larken Rose makes some excellent and bluntly honest points in this book. As someone who has dealt with an insane zoning tyrant in the past I can totally relate.

The book is an eye opener for some

Great book to see how broken the court system is, and how it was never meant to provide true arbitration, especially when you try to fight those that work in the same system.

great example of the corruption men and women face at all levels of the corporate state... a good reason to never contract with the foreign tyrants
