About this listen

Knowing that he's about to be taken back into the foster care system, Kevin Jackson runs away to live on the streets. He sees himself as the outcast anyway, because his brother and sister are the perfect ones while he's always struggled. Things go well to start with, but he soon learns firsthand how dangerous the streets can be. Along the way, he has to confront his own prejudices, and he comes to realize he's had a distorted view in the past. Life is full of surprises, and Kevin will face his share of them as he moves into his future.

Inspirational

This book is the perfect way to conclude the Farmer stories. Kevin is the last to appear as the main focus and Ms. Hopkins has not failed to give us another wonderful character. It is tragic to see him hit rock bottom in his life, but wonderful to see how, with God's help, he is able to climb out of that pit. It addresses the problem of drugs and alcohol and life on the streets in a realistic manner. It's a wonderful, inspirational book; sweet and clean. I can definitely recommend this trilogy. Each book inspiring in it's own way.

The narration was well done which is a good addition to any audio book.

Christian Contemporary Romance

What a great continuation of The Farmers Series! I don't know if this is the final book or not, but I'd sure love an update if there are more! Kevin lives a lifetime in just a few years as his choices steer him down some hard roads, but God uses it all for His glory!
This is the we best narrator of the series, and although there are a few sound issues, I loved this narrator!
If there isn't another book in the series, a great spinoff could be Kevin's choice of profession, or Grandpa's story!

Great story!l and series

Truly remarkable book and enjoyable series, both individually and as a whole.

A challenge to Christians to see past skin color and remain faithful to Christ. The most important commonality we should look for in friends Andrew other relationships should be a common faith in Christ. Yet, the story is not bogged down in preaching, it is told naturally and easily.

Fabulous

Absolutely loved this continuation. Kevin grew up to be such a wonderful young man. I would hope that there might would be a continuation to wrap up the lives of the Farmer's and their friends and family.
