About this listen

The Curzon Case is a gripping story of kidnapping, intrigue and sudden death. Boys disappear from a public school, an aeroplane crashes nearby, and a murder occurs. Paul Temple has his work cut out trying to find out if all the events are connected and tracking down the mysterious Curzon.

Crime novelist and detective Paul Temple, and his glamorous wife, Steve, made their first appearance on BBC Radio in 1938. They inhabited a sophisticated world of chilled cocktail. Now the great radio detective lives again in a brand new reading by Anthony Head.

Long lost gem

I used to look forward to Paul Temple each week as a child 65 years ago when BBC Radio was premier entertainment (for me). This is unusual format as story read not dramatized. I wish there more such gems; I listened to essentially all the Paul Temple on Audible.
