Perry
This book takes place both in the present and in 1509 when Sebastian and Perry met. Both storylines are well done and there is more to their romance than we have seen throughout the series. I also enjoyed the 1509 versions of Alistair and Everard.

Long awaited
I was wondering when/if we would get Sebastian and Perry’s story in this series and I’m so glad to get my hands on it. The story is every bit as terrific as I imagined and it fills in quite a few holes in the overall history as well as setting up Raven. It flips back and forth between their beginnings 5 centuries ago and the now, which kept me engrossed in listening and invested in the story. My heart hurt for what Sebastian and especially Perry endured over the years and joy over what Harry was able to do for Perry. I should be used to it, but Harry keeps surprising me. Narration is on point and Michael Ferraiuolo does a fantastic job with it. I can’t wait to see what is done to fit the last piece in to this series.

This story is over 500 years in the making. We meet Sebastian finding his mate and the life that they make. It is through Peregrine we get to see how it started and their HEA 500 yr later. Superbly written and narrated

4.5 Emotional stars
I think of all the stories in this series, this was the saddest. We learn so much more about Perry, and the fact that it’s told in flashbacks lessens the heartbreak marginally. And while I cried at the end, it was bittersweet tears of joy.
I need to have Raven’s story!

I love, love, love Perry. I'm so glad we got his story despite his tragic past. It was great to hear more from Sebastian and to get to know his brothers better, especially in the past. Michael literally brings this story to life with perfect voices and amazing narration. 10/10 would recommend

So much love for Sebastian and Perry
I read this book when it first came out because I have been following the series and had been anticipating this release (and it was as good as I anticipated). However, even knowing the story, Michael Ferraiuolo brought another whole dimension to the story which blew me away. I don't do book reports to entice people to read a book; however, let me just say that this story brought a lot of emotion and heartfelt joy to me as a reader and all that all that emotion was magnified by this wonderful narration.

Beautiful Story!
I was so thrilled to get the story of Sebastian and Peregrine, and what a story it is. They have been together as mates for over 500 years and their story together is really one of true love, strength, and unity. I love how this story went back and forth from the past to the present so that you can really understand everything that these two have been through and conquered together. Their unwavering love throughout the centuries is a true thing of beauty. You can really feel how much Peregrine has grown and the strength he truly has, not to mention the absolute loyalty, support, and true love that Sebastian has for Peregrine. This is my favorite of all the Drake stories as it really shows all facets of this beautiful relationship that is centuries in the making. The narrator was incredible in bringing all of these characters to life and interpreting the story. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audio book.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this entire series and I was so happy to get Peregrine and Sebastian's story. It was definitely heart wrenching at times but the end makes is so worth it that I would go through it all again. I am anxiously awaiting a story about Bertram and/or Raven but I am not convinced anything will redeem them for me. They may have gone too far so we shall see. Excellent narration by Michael Ferraiuolo :)

Love this series
When I found out that Peregrine and Sebastian's was coming, I was so excited and it didn't disappoint! From their back story to the present, the authors gave a complete of the couple and their love for each other. And Mr. Ferraiuolo was at his finest, again, in this series.
