Very good. I'm not a quilter at all either, but I could relate. Not meant to be a spoiler, but you never really know if the man to confronts Queenie's car is random or is after her and Rita. Maybe that's the point.

I wish could the story would continue on more but alas, that was all there was. 😊

I loved the flow of the story and characters

I’m a sewist, not a quilter but have always loved the history behind quilters groups. The friendships, the teaching, the finished product created by skilled hands, laughter and patience. This story gives a peak into the history of these groups and those friendships we all crave.

Sweet story of friendship

Wonderful story and excellent narration! And I’m going to gift a new copy to Mom (a lifelong quilter), who I know will enjoy this just as much as I did.

Wonderful

i’m not sure where the stellar reviews came from, because i’m not understanding them…i’m not sure if it was the story or the narrator.

I read this book back in 1995. It is fun to revisit old friends. Just a great feel good read.

Please, can I be a Pickle?

I love this book. We read it out loud at our little sewing circle with my mother and her two sisters. So, it conjures up sweet memories of laughing together and sewing together. To this day, we greet each other saying "hi pickle!"

The Binding ties of Quilters.

A bit folksy for my tastes, but a compelling story and mystery that focused on friendships and loyalties.

A good homespun mystery
