Publisher's summary

Vampires generally aren't afraid of things that go bump in the night, but Merit and Ethan are extra jumpy after a recent attack by a dark sorcerer. So when they learn someone is messing with graves in Chicago's cemeteries, stealing skulls and snatching souls, they fear their powerful foe might be back for even more magical vengeance.

But after a specter begins haunting Cadogan House - and targeting vampires - they realize they're being taunted by an altogether different sort of monster. A ghoulish villain straight out of the Windy City's urban legends is on the prowl - and he won't stop until he's killed again....

Contains mature themes.

Phantom Kiss

What a great novella!
Ethan and Merit in my opinion are about to face one of the scariest things you can. A ghost that is freaky to me. I completely believe they exist and we have to respect that but if their bad ghosts who do you call?

The necromancer!!! I loved her in the last book and I love that she is in this book. <3

Great narration again.

A more complete story!

I’ve know about these “novellas” since I first listened, to this series. However, until they were available on the Escape package, I had no intention on purchasing them; too short and not worth the price. However, this release was more of a novella, than the other such releases. This had its own unique plot. It contained a major conflict, antagonist and resolution. The story really doesn’t add to the series and you wouldn’t be confused, at all, by skipping it. It’s definitely not worth a credit but it’s ok if you want a couple of hours of entertainment from your Escape Package.

Pointless and boring just skip it.

I don't mind novellas if they're at least entertaining and give me more time with characters I love and don't get enough of in full length installments. This novellas did neither, it was boring and followed the same formula of all other Chicagolang Vampire books and added nothing to my understanding of the characters,m or the world.
