Found a way to be active and love it!

For the last year or so, I kept hearing about pickleball, but didn't really know what it is. I was very happy to come across this book, which gives you ALL the iinformation that you need to start playing. I am looking forward to playing my first match!

Ready to take on Dad!
If you're looking to dive into the ins and outs of pickleball, this audiobook is a fantastic guide. The game is explained in such clear and simple detail that I learned more than I ever thought possible, from techniques to strategies. Since my dad retired, he's been into pickleball and challenged me to a match; it’s our usual, competitively affectionate dynamic! Thanks to this book, I feel prepared for the game and ready to give him a run for his money.

So much more than just a 'how to' book
As a novice pickleball player, I feel so much more prepared and ready to take the court after listening to this audiobook. The author was able to cover so much material related to the game, including tips to become involved with other players, game strategies and even pickleball specific exercises to get better at the game. The accompanying PDF was great, as sometimes I need to see things to really understand them. If you are a beginner, been playing for a while or thinking of taking up the sport, grab this audiobook and get out on the court.

Great book on Pickleball
Pickleball Made Simple is a useful book to learn pickleball. Pickleball is not as simple as it looks from the sidelines. The rules are plentiful. Pickleball is a cross between badminton and tennis, however, the rules are unique. There are dozens of special shots that require thinking ahead. After watching your oponnant's positon on the court and figuring out what his nest move might be, you decide what shot you want to make. Points are only scored when you are the server. A winning game must be 2 points more than your opponent. The kitchen is an off limits place on the court. The ball must bounce on both sides of the court before a point can be made. A dink appears to be the main scoring technique. Mastering the technique of the dink takes time. Although the game sounds fun, you must be in decent physical condition to play since there is a lot of running back and forth to be in the right position to return the ball. Pickleball is the most popular sport at this time. It is addicting. Everyone I know who has tried it, plays every spare hour they have or got hurt playing and they were forced to stop. I highly recommend buying this book. It is well written and easy to understand.
