About this listen
We do our best when we're relaxed, confident, and capable. Teenagers and children are no different. Practices for Growing up Mindful offers parents, educators, counselors, and caregivers a series of exercises and meditations for cultivating the skills and attitudes that will empower us - and our children - to handle the increasing stress of modern life in wise and healthy ways. With this audio companion to his new book, Dr. Willard brings us the tools he has found the most effective in his work with children, teens, and parents, and as a leader in training and teaching educators, psychotherapists, and other caregivers.

Great compilation of mindful exercises for kids and adults alike
I have this a straight through listen and somewhat practice to familiarize myself with all the contents. There were numerous going through that I felt were suitable to do with my school age daughter and am excited to try. The content and narration are both good quality and I'm happy with my purchase. The chapters are not labeled though (to my knowledge) which will make it hard to quickly turn to certain exercises, but perhaps I will find a way to overcome this. It could also make a great app - I would buy that as well!
