About this listen

Heart can be defined as the central or innermost part of something. But when that core function is broken, shattered into pieces at the hands of the ones you love most—the distress, suffering, and anguish—can be debilitating.

Sexy, savvy, unbossed, and unbothered, Symphony James is always in control. As for her situationships with men, she dictates who, when, and, more importantly, how. Secretly crippled by a tumultuous past, love, relationships, and family were never the desires of her heart. The savage sweetpea only experienced love with conditions until she met him.

Unlike most men, Tyus Okoro wasn’t intimidated by the hard-care, incorrigible, yet stunningly beautiful Symphony James. Her boss-chick behavior was nothing but motivation for him to dismantle her complications—layer by layer. But would he finally meet his match?

🔥🔥 Great Story!

Symphony was a handful, but Tyus played no games! I’m glad a circled back to read this series. It was steamy and touched on serious issues in a meaningful way. Wesleigh for the win again!

Potential

Let me just say that narration on this story was amazing. Wesleigh Slobhan is blessed with an amazing talent. This story had potential, but was the same blueprint as book one.

I don’t know HOW Robbi Renee did this but my heart belongs to Tyus.

Pretty Shattered Heart is book 2 and Wesleigh Siobhan rivetingly narrates the story of Tyus Okoro, Sr. and Symphony James. We first met these two in Pretty Shattered Soul when Symphony’s cousin Syncere fell in love and married Tyus’s best friend, King Cartwright.

In PSH, Symphony, the boss baddie lives life to the beat of her own drum. She involves herself in situationships with men either too young to want something real or too old to care. Either way, sex is the only thing she’s offering on the menu. Except with Tyus.

With Tyus, she has real dates and spends time with him outside of the bedroom but often goes ghost on him for reasons unknown to Tyus. As time has passed, he’s grown strongly fond of Symphony but she is always on her BS.

Every time he wants to throw in the towel, her pull on him keeps him from straying. When he finally learns Symphony’s darkest secrets and pulls back the layers of heart, he works overtime to keep her and show her that he only wants her. And whew Tyus is BAE and the lovemaking… clutch your pearls worthy! One word: Mexico!

Tyus pulls no punches! He’s an alpha male for sure and when he comes through for Symphony everybody better come correct… even Symphony!!

Their relationship is otherworldly and euphoric and you will get entranced in their utopian love affair as Tyus rids his Sweet Pea of all the demons in her past to open and rebuild her shattered heart with his love.

Talk about patient!

My goodness was the male main character patient. His love was fierce and unconditional. Robbie Reed is an amazing writer. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Wesleigh Siobhan can do no wrong!! Her narration is always spot on!! She brings all the feels to her work!

Man, This Couple Really Went Through It…

But, Tyus was the standup man that we all would love. Tyus, was determined to show Symphony that she was worth it. Being in the medical field and understanding the help that her Prima sought a few years earlier, I’m surprised she didn’t realize a little therapy would have help her much sooner. But, Finally….Symphony & Tyus got to their HEA. TJ stole the show for me….I love stories with kids in them,,,,Wesleigh’s performance was phenomenal as always!
