Publisher's summary

Tia Parker always seems to fall for the wrong guy. But when she meets Evan Spence at a friend’s wedding, it seems like she’s finally found Mr. Right. Their spark is undeniable, but reality may extinguish any hope for a future: They are separated by thousands of miles.

As the couple struggles with the pitfalls of pursuing romance long-distance, Tia is taken off guard by a new arrival in town. Colby Farren is handsome and charming and has made it clear he’s interested in Tia. Yet despite his obvious infatuation, Tia can’t seem to get Evan out of her mind.

Caught between the attention of two very different men, her complicated love life is soon eclipsed by much more sobering concerns. A break-in at her apartment is just the first in a series of bizarre events, each bringing her one step closer to a dangerous liaison. And knowing who to trust could be a matter of life and death.

Proximity is a thoroughly enjoyable book.

The title Proximity is based on a song expressing the need to be close. A long distance romance evolves into plans for the future that spiral out of control with Tia running for her life. The audio version of Proximity is amazingly well performed.

I liked it, but.

good story. kept my interest. good performance
overall I felt it up to the standards of the author and publisher. I felt disappointed in the lack of prayer or value of God by the people in the book. I felt let down by the author. The standards and principles held by LDS weren't well reinforced.

Another Amazing Story by Traci!

How is it possible for one author to grab my attention from the first chapter and hold me captive until the end?! Traci Hunter Abramson has done it again! Proximity is an invredible suspense novel, which weaves her amazing story telling with characters I've gotten to know and love from previous books! After you read/listen to this book and want to get to know Charlie Whitmore and Kendra Blake, read Ripple Effect, and tge subsequent sequels in tgat trilogy because you will fall in love with those characters. then go on to Freefall where you'll get a brief glimpse of why Charlie decided to join the FBI. Then Obsession for Charlie and Kendra's own story of the progression of their relationship. Spotlight is next, with their wedding, and Kendra's little sister Sienna's love story. Sienna's story continues in Tripwire, and then so far, the latest with Charlie and Kendra is this book Proximity. When you realize that most of Traci Hunter Abramson weaves most of her novels with characters from her other books, you might become as obsessed as I have, and end up readimg everything she's written. to my knowledge, there are only 3 books in which the characters from some of the above mentioned books don't intersect, but they in themselves are outstanding well! Definitely worth the read. Traci sure knows how to tell a story that gets you addicted quickly from page 1 to the end, and beyond.

Clean story and language

You can’t go wrong with Traci Hunter Abramson. Her books. have just a touch of suspense, but mostly just good family stories with no foul language.
