Max Alan Collins is great

Quarry is a great character. I found him after reading the Nathan Heller books. MAC is a diamond in the rough.

Love these books

This is not the best Quarry but it is satisfying and full of the detail and stylish prose that fulfills the need for a Collins fix!

two last books in the series

This was a quick, fun listen. It was action packed and I kept right at it and finished it pretty fast.

What's most interesting to me and so I make note of it in this review is that at the end of the book there is a section where the author explains how the Quarry series and even his other series evolved. In 2006 he wrote 'The Last Quarry' which he intended to be the last book in the series then due to various inputs he wrote more and in 2020 or so he wrote 'Quarry's Blood' this one, which he intends to be the last book in the series, a second last one so to speak but asked if there might be another he said, "We'll see"! So, who knows.

But, armed with more info I'll go back and research the series with more knowledge and see if I want to continue on with Quary. I believe I might.
