There's always been something very special about Ray Bradbury's storytelling, but I can't imagine what I might say about it that hasn't already been said over the years by others who are far more articulate than I could ever hope to be.
What I can say about this particular collection of stories is that whether you're a long-time fan of Ray Bradbury, or whether this is your introduction to his amazing work, it will not disappoint.
It's wonderful.

I adore Ray Bradbury! I thought I had read and reread and reread...etc...every book he ever wrote but I missed this one. SO VERY VERY glad I found it here as an Audible. It is wonderful, a delightful mix of dark and light with all his vivid imagery. And the reader did it justice...we'll read sir. Thanks for making this available.

Another fine Bradbury you've gotten me into.

Great variety of stories and excellent narration. You can always count on Bradbury to mix it up with his anthology

Great stories from a master

I’ve read a few of the Bradbury essentials- like Fahrenheit 451 and Something Wicked This Way Comes, but these are new for me, and gorgeously narrated. Thrilled to find this in Audible Plus, and I’ll definitely keep my eye out for other books by this narrator. The characters really come alive through the talented performance.

Wonderful shorts

One of my favorite narrators reads one of my favorite authors since childhood!

These stories made me laugh and cry and hope to someday be remembered fondly.

Do yourself a lifelong favor and listen to this!

Most Amazing!

The reader is a favorite of mine and really does the short stories in this anthology a lot of justice. Not your typical Ray Bradbury, but I think any reader will find several in here to treasure nonetheless. Highly recommend.

Great Shorts!

I've been reading and loving Ray Bradbury's books since I was a young teen about 50 years ago, and sad to say, this is the first book of his that I have heartily disliked. This makes me sad. I was looking forward to some time with his usual inventive, futuristic scifi, but no... This is not his typical imaginative fare, this is intensely dark, such as an old married couple trying multiple ways to kill each other, a psychotic German psychiatrist obsessed with submarines who screamed at his patients, haunted graveyard dirt, etc. etc. I think he was going through an Edgar Allen Poe phase or something . There were a couple good stories but not enough. Anyway, I'm returning this book. Sigh.

What a disappointment for a Bradbury book,
