I listened to this book (off and on) during the time my 8-year-old daughter was being evaluated for dyslexia and in the weeks following the results which confirmed my suspicion. I found the book very helpful and a great jumping off point as I dive into this new world. I feel more connected to my daughter and that I understand her better. I am planning to order the physical copy to be able to reference parts of it more easily.

The book is great and very helpful, but this audiobook was hard to listen to. The narrator was making some weird sound with his mouth as he read. I understand this was not on purpose, but it was distracting and I had to turn it off after 2 chapters.

Great Book! But dislike the audio.
