Raptured Souls: The Dawn of Tribulation is an electrifying and thought-provoking prophetic thriller that will leave you on the edge of your seat. Dive into a world of suspense, prophecy, and unyielding courage as you follow FBI Agent David Mitchell and CIA agent Becca Lawrence into the heart of the Biblical end times.
In an instant, the world changes forever. The skies open, and in a divine moment, the souls of Christ believers are raptured, leaving the Earth in profound shock with millions of bodies falling dead and setting in motion the events of the Biblical end times.
Raptured Souls plunges readers into a world now teetering on the edge of destiny. With the faithful taken, those left behind grapple with a reality where prophecies become truths and shadows of ancient predictions loom large.
Amidst this chaos, FBI Agent David Mitchell, driven by duty and a newfound purpose, finds himself at the heart of the unfolding drama. Alongside him is CIA agent Becca Lawrence, a beacon of hope and resilience in a world now shrouded in uncertainty. Together, they face The Circle, a formidable multinational alliance led by the enigmatic Lucien Morreau. With ambitions that threaten global stability, Morreau's rise after the rapture heralds an era of darkness and a world spiraling towards chaos.
Join David and Becca as they race against time, from the remote villages of northern Nigeria to the war-torn landscapes of Israel, on a mission that challenges their faith, resilience, and very existence. As ancient prophecies come to life and the Tribulation unfolds, they must navigate the beginning of the tribulation.

Story
Before the lights went out, Jack Warrant never considered himself a prepper. That was someone on the edge, a conspiracy theorist or a doomsday cultist who had a fatalistic view of the world. He was neither a theorist nor a cultist. He was an optimist. At least that was what he told himself when the darker thoughts creeped into his psyche as he stared at the ceiling in the middle of the night. Whenever he started down the rabbit hole, he always clawed his way back into the sunlight.

President John F. Kennedy once said, “Mankind must put an end to war or war will put an end to mankind.” Today, a new element has been introduced to the preparations—artificial intelligence. The United States, in its quest to rapidly and effectively defend the nation from a nuclear attack, has incorporated AI into its operation plan of response. But what if the artificial intelligence relied upon by the nation’s decision-makers is wrong? What if AI takes the controls of America’s nuclear response? Story
First published in 1843, it tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, a mean and unpleasant man who dislikes people generally and Christmas especially. One Christmas Eve he is visited by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come and given a glimpse of the many homes and lives which Scrooge has touched in his wretched life to date. After their visits, Scrooge is transformed into a kinder, gentler man.

Story
My fiancé brought me tea and scrambled eggs in bed that morning, and we snuggled together, talking about buying our rings, and about our perfect wedding next year. Then we headed into town. He held my hand and gazed at the ring I liked best, a smile spreading slowly over his face. Then a glass of bubbly to celebrate. I felt flushed, excited and ready for the rest of my life with the man I loved. We race to get on the train home. It screams to a halt and I run towards its open doors. Made it. I think he’s right behind me — but when I turn around, he’s gone.

Lucas knows the perfect night entails just three things: video games, wine, and pad thai. Peanuts are a must! Other people? Not so much. Why complicate things when he’s happy alone? Then one day the apartment board, a vexing trio of authority, rings his doorbell. And Lucas’s solitude takes a startling hike. They demand to see his frying pan. Someone left one next to the recycling room overnight, and instead of removing the errant object, as Lucas suggests, they insist on finding the guilty party. But their plan backfires. Colossally.

When Heather McKinley dreamed of becoming a doctor, she imagined curing sick kids and sporting pink stethoscopes. She never anticipated the sleepless nights, grueling exams, and endless labs. And she certainly never knew that her medical school earned the nickname Dead Med thanks to the tragic history of students overdosing on illegal drugs. But Heather would never consider doing anything like that. That is, until her longtime boyfriend dumps her, she finds herself failing anatomy, and her world starts to crumble.

Virtual voice is awful
I could listen to the first few chapters but had to stop, the VV had no inflection or personality. Narration is what brings the book to life & makes the characters real. This is the first and last time I buy an audio book with virtual voice.
